Yeah, when I got accepted I checked CYMS and it said alt list for UCLA, but a day later they updated my status ‘no longer under consideration’. I only just saw it today when I went in to CTE. I was also regular WL for UCLA, I don’t know if it makes a difference though

This is it. I don't think they're releasing anything now. Good luck y'all. Gonna withdraw waitlist.
 
I don’t think they will be either. Moreover, I definitely don’t think anyone from regular waitlist will be getting pulled this year. Good luck to all of you! I’m going to put my energy into something else.
 
Wow, when people were saying this is the least movement of all waitlists in UCLA's history they apparently weren't kidding. That or close to it? Why do you all think the reason or reasons are that there seems to have been literally zero WL movement at all for months, at least among anyone commenting on SDN?

They prob accepted more people than previous years (straight A's without being put on the waitlist)
 
Why did they just tell me they may have moved onto regular WL already?! Aren’t there “top” people who haven’t heard back yet?

i called earlier to ask questions about potential reapp and they officially told me the class if full. I mean we already knew that but its nice that they finally admitted it

Probably people just dropped from the waitlist so they’ve “moved on” to regular waitlist, and the class is full

However, some movement off the waitlist may still happen, as some students might defer their offers or decide at the last minute not to attend for personal reasons. Yeah cycle looks pretty much done
 
I know their class is currently full - but if they have someone drop last minute, I want to know if it would have to be top WL or not! :////

Wtf they did? I was near the top and never heard back 😢. Ima go to the session td to check but honestly not expecting anything

Also it seems like someone made it off the WL ~3days ago assuming that they posted when they were notified. Soo idk what this means but their admissions office seems terrible at communicating.

I saw this too! I went on their page and It looks like based off one of their comments from 12 days ago that they already got word that they would be attending. My guess is that they got in on the 30th and just posted about it 3 days ago

i wish they would at least send an email to all applicants saying wl is full since they did that in previous years around the first week of June. They already admitted it over the phone when I asked and they already vaguely say it over email so why not just be more clear cut and say it.

Students aren’t able to get the closure they need and the school certainly won’t have an issue replacing the MAYBE 1-2 people that drop last minute. There’s no need for any of this.
 
Do you guys have other options or are you just waiting for UCLA? I just do not understand how people who were offered As here denied it and they did not offer more spots up. But maybe those people just did not report on SDN.

The school overfilled so even though students were dropping they still didn’t have any open seats
 
For those of you on the waitlist did you guys ever get a Certiphi screening email?
 
What did the email they sent you say? I’m so sorry about the WL movement this year y’all 😔
 
So time to commit to others, I guess. Its very quiet in here ... 😕😕
