My MSAR expired and don’t want to renew. Can anyone please share if the new data indicates how many people were on and got accepted off the WL?
Same data. 182 IS II, 157 OOS, 125 spots, typical WL positions: “variable”, acceptances off WL: “50”

Last year 188 people were accepted for the 125 seats (they presented this info to current MS1s)

Is there an accepted students group chat/page? I am an accepted student and haven’t heard anything yet but I know they have done something like that in years past.

Someone posted this groupme earlier in the thread, however, I'm not sure if it's an official group from the school.

Sorry might be a dumb question but does cte remove you from all waitlists? Or just acceptances?
CTE does neither, you need to withdraw As and WL spots for each school according to their procedure. Some let you do it through the portal, for others you need to email admissions.

Oh ok. So what keeps people from staying on waitlists then? Is the cte binding?

I believe schools can at that point know if you are on waitlists at that point on the choose your medical school program. So, after a few days after CTE and it is still showing up they could pull your acceptance.
Yes I believe this is correct, it depends on each specific school's CTE policies. If I'm not mistaken, the U expects you to have withdrawn from WL elsewhere if you are CTE with them. Other schools have different policies. I don't think they'll immediately withdraw your acceptance. A friend of mine last year was on the WL at another school but had selected CTE at the U and got an email from someone telling them they needed to withdraw from the waitlist ASAP as it was after 5/31 (the CTE deadline).

Just wanted to update for people still waiting. I had to call admissions because I received an outside scholarship but it has a deadline that is before Utah sends final decisions around late next week. I asked if we would hear back in the next 2 weeks (same as 2022,2023) but the lady said that they accept up until school starts. She seemed unaware of the usual rejections that go out early June which is interesting

Final decisions?
Yes based on the last like 4 years on SDN, Utah sends their final decisions next week. There’s been a few one-offs where someone gets accepted close to school starting but never is there any SDN activity past mid June
