is it worth calling for an update? even to ask if it’s to ask about getting rejected over accepted? at this point i kind of just need an answer so i can move on to other things

I emailed this week and this is what they said: "
Thank you for reaching out to the Office of Admissions. We appreciate your continued interest in Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC). WCMC’s waitlist movement can last throughout the summer; as our wait list is not ranked, waitlisted applicants are re-reviewed when openings occur. We are unable to give specific times of when individual applicants will be re-reviewed. You may continue to send any updates or communications about the waitlist to this e-mail address. "

Maybe they'd be willing to provide more information over the phone? But it's hard to say.

Maybe they'd be willing to provide more information over the phone? But it's hard to say.

They can’t provide more information because their class is full and someone would need to drop their A for someone on their WL to be considered. And they have no way of knowing ahead of time whether someone will drop. This is what it means to be on a WL

I called them this morning. They’re said they’re expecting movement through the end of June. I have to CTE and withdraw this upcoming Monday. Bummer, but hoping the Weill dream comes true for one of you lovely folks!

Btw folks, after I CTE’d to my current school, I got an email from while Cornell that they are removing me from their WL based on this selection. I’m hoping that this was automatic and didn’t mean that movement was about to happen… None of my other schools emailed me. Has anyone else had this experience?

I think they send this automatically when you CTE, I saw something similar happen to someone on a previous year’s thread!

I called two weeks ago and they were accepting updates... but no info was given on WL movement. Not sure if anyone had some luck but doesn't use sdn.
