I waited for their email! I think it came 1-2 days after the initial invitation but I’m not sure what’s their timeline will look like during the holidays

Those are typically for post interview but if it truly is your top choice I see no downside to it. Nothing to lose!

I got my student pen pal about a month ago, they were very intentional about pairing me with someone who has a similar background and interests. Maybe it is also contingent on how many students volunteer?

My intuition is telling me late February. February 27th? Last year, it was Feb 28th at 8 PM EST.

Saw someone on reddit saying they got a phone call from here saying "they were very pleased with the app" and giving the student more time to consider. Perused old threads, did not find that ever happening.

Did anyone else have this happen this year? I see no MD As on admit, so that can't be too common, right? Stressing

Huh. That is very odd. It is very possibly a troll, lmao. I do not believe acceptances have been rolled out, should come end of February. Anyways, IFFFF that were true which I do not believe, then I guess that would be very rare and have no consequence on your chances of getting in later in February... Again, very tense/stressful times, so just careful with what you read on these forums and the way you let it affect you, especially reddit. We will all be fine, let's manifest it fr! <3

I saw this too. I think the user is trolling, especially since theoretically the committee doesn’t meet until after all interviews
