As someone on the waitlist (not alternate), what is the likelihood of getting an A at this point? I read somewhere that everyone on the WL got off last year, but I'm not sure if that is something that happens every year.

You definitely still have a chance, last year ppl got off all the way up through late July.
 
Anyone that has been accepted, how do we join the facebook and discord group? I cant find the group tab someone mentioned earlier. Im really trying to find a roommate.

You need your westernu email to get approved by the mods.
When you’re approved, find the discord link by searching for it in the search bar of the group

When is the latest that MD applicants can get off the WL? That's probably when we'll see some significant WL movement for Western, because the class probably has a lot of MD WLers.

A majority of the md wl movement has already happened unfortunately
 
Does anyone know how registration works (are we all choosing the same classes or is it like undergrad)

Pre-Clinical Curriculum for Year 1 and year 2 is mandatory and does not have any electives like undergraduate. You have electives for clinical rotations for year 3 and 4.

Currently on the waitlist as well. Feels like they won’t reach me based on the movement now and the stats of other accepted applicants..

Going to be completely honest, I'm unsure. The original waitlist letter said waitlist, then the weekly interest check emails always said alternate list. I know they're two different things, but they kept using them interchangeably for me. I wish I had a better answer for you I'm sorry

You were on waitlist then. People earlier in this thread said to go by what the letter says. Thanks for the reply!

For those who were accepted and are still looking for a housing option, I am looking for someone to take over my lease at The Upland Apartments (just a short drive from WesternU Pomona) in August 4 (date negotiable). I'm an attending physician and have lived here for two years and would have stayed longer — the complex is quiet, well-maintained, and super convenient — but I’m relocating for a new job.

The unit is floor plan A2, located on the 4th floor (top floor). Rent is $2,811/month (on their website, current rent is $2,957+). I’m also offering $1,500 to help cover the future rent difference and application fee.

Please DM me if interested - happy to share photos or more details!
 
Is there only a background check and no drug test? On Precheck, there was only an option for a background check.
