i emailed the admissions office several days ago asking a question about my personal prereq course situation (which I need to submit onto the secondary), and they haven't responded. i've also been calling them every day for the past few days and just been directed to voicemail. anyone know how long it takes for them to get back about application questions - and should i just submit my secondary, or should i wait for a response?
I would just submit, if you feel like your situation would allow you to fulfill the prereqs anyway, then submit. I heard med school really only care about them after you've been accepted and before you matriculate.

sup. i have a really cool wonder essay from JHU and want to put it in the important info section if it's allowed. anyone know if it's negative to fill that prompt with non - financial/life concerns/etc?

for reference I wrote about a time I bonded with my mom, so it's a more human / emotional essay. not some financial / covid / rough upbringing type thing.
I have the same question..

I did it but looking back I would have put a diff essay that I completed after about a huge X factor activity I did. so kinda dumb on my part but I think it'll be ok bc the X factor thing is all over my app.

Is the anything else essay prompt suitable for a why us? Or are they looking for extenuating circumstances only?

I feel like both their required essays should give you enough room to talk about why yale. I personally am not writing one!

nah they saving the best for last
Who knows for sure, but I believe there’s a strategic timing to get into the queue for a spot. It’s good to apply early, not too early, but definitely not at the last minute either. If a school sends out many interview invitations early on, it might be harder to secure one in the next phase. Conversely, if fewer interviews are offered at the start, the later ones could be less competitive. Does this reasoning make sense?

How'd you all go about entering the format for Spring 2020 courses, as these started off in person but transitioned online. Should I mark them down as in-person?

however they appear on your transcript. What if your transcript doesn't specify?
They were mainly online, it sounds like, but the schools are still allowing online courses for 2020/2021 because many schools switched, like yours did, without giving you a choice.

Does Yale look at app when secondary are submitted or when the entire app is completed?

was complete 7/24 hm have they alr skipped past that at this point?
