I wouldn't lose hope! If admit is accurate there are people that submitted after 7/22 that received IIs today and during the first wave on 8/15. I submitted 7/10 and just got my II today, so it seems like they do circle back.

I know I was shocked! I didn’t add them to my primary until the last week of August either bc I originally didn’t think I had a shot haha. I'm non-trad and have super high employment hours (like 10,000+), so they may be sorting by stats and hours.

Definitely by stats, based on here and admit.org, along with some other stuff probably. They're non-rolling so submission date is probably not a significant factor.

I recently realized I have no idea how this process works and thought I had to cure cancer or be an Olympic athlete to get into any of the T20s. Besides being a career changer, I don't think I'm anything special. If you're reading this, don't sell yourself short and shoot your shot! 😊

• A - Have there been any updates regarding your activities / achievements / distinctions since completing your AMCAS application, or do you have any important accomplishments you have not yet shared with us here or in your AMCAS application? The Office of Admissions will review your activities / achievements / distinctions in the Experiences section of the AMCAS Application, so you do not need to restate anything included there.
• B - If you are not enrolled in college or graduate school classes for the duration of the current academic year, please tell us how you are spending your time. Include both your current and any planned activities prior to enrolling in medical school.

I am confused because it seems like they're asking the same thing except that A includes Achievements and B includes future plans. But let's say that I don't have any new achievements or distinctions to write about in A and only have new activities that I've started and are currently doing. Won't these new activities be the same as what B is asking about?

So don't answer A, and answer B instead. The last sentence of the prompt for A seems to try to reassure you that you don't need to reiterate what is in your primary. I imagine it's for people who are finalists for major national awards and actually won them in the ~few weeks between submitting primaries and submitting secondaries.

Right, that’s what I’m inclined to think too. The only reason I assumed they were done with interview invites is that someone who interviewed with them mentioned that they said they intend to be done interviewing at the end of the year. And the last interview invite seems to have been sent here on 9/11 and at admit.org on 9/18. Hoping for the best

They're non-rolling, so definitely submit, especially if you have a strong story and/or stats. I submitted 8/20 and had an invite a couple weeks later.

I'd go for it! I submitted on 8/16 and got an II on 9/4. There's a video in the portal with instructions on the application, and it emphasized how they're non-rolling

They are, I was agreeing that the Rs being reported are likely MSTP applicants because they are treated a little differently than regular MD

They are usually given a chance to be considered only for MD if the PhD program is rejecting them.
