I don't think these two are equivalent at all and I think it wasn't clear to you why AM was doing a roll call. (I also missed this quote on initial wake up this evening, sorry).

We have a suspected side effect of an item that causes silencing after it allows you to act twice in a night. We had two of the same block overnight with flair different from the (now dead) village blocker.

So no, trying to make people check in so that a wolf that we suspect is silenced can't hide in a mass of quiet players is not sketchy to me.

You're right, it wasn't clear to me. I read it, super disliked the super jerky language AM chose to go with, and replied.

Really poor way to play. There's a time for pushing people and aggression, and there's a time for just saying "hey, this information is necessary - please reply". AM chose poorly.

Exactly how I said: I lean towards thinking chaos is tunneling me (i.e. v on v), but it's a soft lean. He could easily be fanged.

I asked him why he suddenly came at me, and he replied something about how it wasn't sudden, but it sure seems like. I had minimal interaction with chaos until all at once he brought me up several times. That, to me, is weird. It smacks of intentionally trying to get a mis-lynch, but ... I also know that when I tunnel someone I do the same thing. So.... *shrug*

not an interaction yet but i wanna put thishere to see if it was responded to. I think its worth noting that both of them have interacted w other people, just not each other, but it's still early D1.

Zenge's focus on MsP sounds a bit off to me , but then there seems to be some sort of beef going on between them , wouldnt be surprised if it turned out to be w/w tho .

which didn't yield as much fruit as I wanted but she's only got like 10 posts. Although I'm noticing one of the few things she did was mention Chaos (see below) and give him a neutral read. She's mentioned almost no one, presumably most people are neutral....why single out chaos in a group of over 20 just to say he's neutral? Speaking of 10 posts, I hadn't noticed until Cray pointed it out but yeah, it's literally exactly 10. Just enough to avoid a mod kill.

Speaking of Chaos, I can definitely see a pack here: I'm really not liking the MKG push right now. Like as far as I can tell this is literally the only post even mentioning MKG

this makes me go less w/w bc i think if the wolves knew z was gonna die, they would want to avoid him putting too much attention on other members of the pack (bc he straight up says he can see a pack w chaos)

Alley and Kata both didn't check in until 8PM on Saturday night and neither posted on Friday at all from what I can see.

I guess I'm not convinced one or both of them won't show up and say in the next hour or so and have no idea we've been waiting for them.

So I just went back to reread zenge's message to me and he was definitely hinting that he was an ability seer. Idk if it'll be more helpful but I'll try to bring more context to zenge's message to me. Basically I'm going to paraphrase how I read it:

He opened by saying that I was acting different this game vs the last where I was wolfing and so he was going to take a risk and trust me. He said he couldn't give anymore information, but that he felt certain mkg was village. This was all brought up because I had asked him what his read on mkg was earlier in the thread. This message was also sent before I placed my vote on him but had brought up that I was sus of him on thread.

I told him the only reason he would know for sure is if he had some sort of seer role and he was basically like "yep you got me" and said he seered her because people had been reading her differently and even though he thought she was village he was worried enough to make her his seer target

He also asked me not to reveal the info on thread after I told him I didn't trust him and that he shouldn't be trusting me with his role info like this. He said I should look into people pushing mkg and that she had an important village role and that I should do a counter push on anyone who tries to yeet her

If all this is actually true Cyndia's strong village read on her freaks me out. If she's in the wolf pack then she would know if mkg had an important village role (if what zenge was saying is true) and could be white knighting for later.

This might also be why mkg was silenced if she had the ability to glean important info to share on thread today.

So she kinda did it to herself, according to her PM to me. Side effect of an item.

For one thing, she posted a lot less overall (the Breadsticks game was also a lot shorter than this one, I kept that in mind). The content/tone of her posts is somewhat different too (but I'm keeping in mind that she was not particularly happy with how she played in that game and would probably play differently if she randed wolf again).

Knowing the possibility of multiple cigarettes being in play last night is making me a lot less comfortable with yeeting her - I've been village leaning her for the whole game and just being silenced alone, along with the possibility that genny mentioned about her trying to let us know she's silenced with liking the other posts, is making me a little nervous.

@Dinashadow, I know you've been village leaning Cray too, and I'm curious about your thoughts on this.

All three of the candidates are about cigarettes. A double block happened which would be enabled by smoking one. The result is being silenced.

The thought is that the blocker who targeted genny and Dina is likely a wolf blocker, who smoked a cigarette to be able to use the blocking ability on multiple people and is now silenced as a result. The descriptions of their blocks were different from the descriptions of the village blocker (Sporty)'s actions on me N1 and Trilt N2. Cray is a usual high poster who has been silent this cycle other than liking tallies/non-game-related posts.

But there's also the possibility of other cigarettes in play, and alley and kata are historical low posters who don't tend to show up until right before yeet, and that's complicating things.

I moved Cray from a light village to a light wolf lean over the last day or two just based on some weird feels from a couple posts, so I'm not sad-sad about lynching her... but I'd honestly much more strongly prefer kata who I've been suspicious of literally since day one.

And who, even if she is village, is definitely not playing in a particularly fun/straightforward way and who I think will be a distraction until she's dead.

I still have particularly bad ~feelings~ from kata getting in exactly ten posts on the first day, then peaceing out.

Yeah but I always get paranoid of her by mid-game. Remember basics? I can't remember the last time I played with her where she was a wolf, but I know she can play a good wolf game.

I've been trying to think of what would make village cray want to silence herself for a cycle. Something that she thought would be important enough to do.

I can see if kata or alley were wolfing with her they would purposefully play silent to try and save her because she's being village read heavily and has an important ability, but that's just a theory.
