And if we're to believe UFO she's Maroon 5 and had a seering ability. So I just disagree on the assumption that the classically great bands would necessarily have greater abilities, and therefore be in more danger from the wolves. Neither side of the discussion can be proven without revealing roles anyway...But anyway, if everybody doesn't agree on the revealing thing, that's fine. Just seemed like a good way for us to figure some things out.

I'm not really sure why I would need luck convincing that I'm a villager. So I thought that was odd. But it makes me believe there are wolves for sure.

See, the mention of "the former creator" in your role PM makes me think that Rojo possibly made the wolf roles a bunch of boy bands that he doesn't like, but somehow Maroon 5 slipped through the cracks. So I think whoever said we're looking for boy bands may be on to something. But Kaydubs could have changed things around sooo...
 
I also think bands have a primary role and extra bonus roles (like seering). So I wouldn't be surprised if there is seering of that sort with a "lesser" band

This is what my role said too. Nothing more than clearly saying I'm a villager. I find it hard to believe that STL could forget that from the role PM. Unlynch mrsSOV. Lynch STL.

I'm fine with not role revealing right away. There are so many bands that I think it would be easy for a wolf to claim a good band anyway, so it might not give us much info but might give the wolves too much info about us.
 
I also had ksmi's thought. I'm fan #3... Yes I know we dropped the role revealing but my pm did in fact say "plain vanilla villager"

I used my autoplay on chillbo N1 and was worried I accidentally killed him, although it seems unlikely that a villager would get unlimited assassinations. I tried it again last night on someone else and was told nothing happened, so I don't think I killed chillbo. I still don't know what I actually did, though.

Do you mean "last night" = N1, and "tonight" = N2? I'm just confused by "tonight" since it's not night right now. And confused that you're saying you gave hedgie a quote last night but you also say your song did not do anything last night.
 
Hm.

Ok, I can go along with the STL lynch. I sorta have 'gut feels' that we're lynching a villager, but I gotta admit that the reasoning is sound.

Sorry to have been relatively inactive, was in London and had a mental day at work yesterday, but should be active from here on out.
I'm fan #4, and it was also explicitly stated in my role that I was a plain vanilla villager, so I'm happy with an STL lynch.

I got a quote saying "life is too short to have anything but delusional notions about yourself" or something like that. I wasn't told that anything happened though just that I got a message.
 
The only thing is I can see if both mods were sending out roles then there could be different wording. Still, seems odd and it's all we've got to go on. Plus, as someone mentioned, losing a fan doesn't seem as potentially bad as losing a band with songs and abilities.

I think the write up said someone was killed by teenyboppers going after a popstar. To me teenyboppers are associates with boy bands.

Sorry I was MIA, was over at a friend's house and I fell asleep before I was able to read through this thread. I also agree with not role revealing for now, last game it gave huge amounts of information to the wolves really early in the game, and made it much easier for the wolves to hide behind an unclaimed name like Saya did.

In a serious bout of frustration over how confusing the scoring is in this damn competition, the bands turn their anger and angst toward their fans! They jump off their stages, grab the first person that looks like suspicious, and beat them with drumsticks and guitars until they die. You have lynched STL - Fan #6.

Not in comparison to classic rock (if you like that sort of stuff), but before they sold out, they played an awesome show. Saw them with Snoop Dog many moons ago, and it was the best concert ever. Just sayin'. 🙂
