Who? I think a lot of the vets enjoy playing with dubz, and dubz always admits she usually doesn't get a wolf D1 anyway. I'd be more inclined to think a vet would make that kill if they were having trouble keeping up with thread volume. And, I'd be more willing to think it was another vet wolf if it wasn't two of the vets killed. I don't see why a vet would want genny dead so early, usually she gains a lot of sketch points and she's pretty busy and usually not on the thread a lot. I agree with Mel here.
Mel, you, Vis, and Sporty all have a previous record of killing dubz early. Not sure about the rest because I don't remember.

It’s also interesting, and I think more damning, that they were both vanilla. PR hunting seemed like a lower priority.

I'd be inclined to kill Dubz early if I was a wolf just because she's unnaturally good at reading me, but I don't know I'd be ballsy enough to do N1. I could see sporty making that kill off of thread volume alone. Not sure about mel and vis

Samac, lawpy - village
Visc, AM, Alley, Zenge, Pubdog, VMH
Dubz*, genny, The True True^, PSV, April
anyone I don’t specifically name- neutral
Zuri, VV, YK,
Fluffernutter, Sporty - woofy

*I will easily reverse this, she’s being TOO helpful and it makes my skin crawl.
^Thank you, I almost NEVER get to make this reference

I might be giving out village cred too easily. I feel like this many people in my village ish pile is not good, but then again its a big game...

edit: I'm updating as I read because I'm pretty sure I'm the only one awake besides maybe AM.

Edit 2: 33 mins after original post, AM is the first person to like this post. Go figure 😆
What's making you inclined to put samac village right now? She's not screaming village to me but she didn't exactly scream village in the last game I played with her either until I started PMing her, so she's square in my neutrals.
And also, what's putting sporty in wolfy?

I'm trying to figure that out too. I'm also not familiar with the possibilities of roles, but maybe there is a NA that can duplicate an action? Like how I was the redirector and could redirect Player A onto Player B, maybe there could be an action where you duplicate Player A's action onto Player B, similar to the redirector where I didn't know what the action was or who the original target was
It would be pretty unlikely though to have caught the wolf who would NK and then duplicate the action… unless it’s a wolf ability.

It’s also interesting, and I think more damning, that they were both vanilla. PR hunting seemed like a lower priority.
How would wolves know who has a PR on D1? Or are some of the vets so good/experienced at making reads that you can also figure out who has a PR early on?

I’ve been slowly coming around on Fluff. I liked their play in the later part of yesterday’s cycle, but it did come after pressure started building so that’s something to take into consideration I guess.
Neutral on VV. Need to see more. 12 posts so far isn’t a lot to analyze with.

As for this, I could see that interpretation, but it’s a smoking gun I’d yeet anyone over.
I'd think a positive response to pressure in this case would be more villagey than wolfy, considering noob wolves usually don't know what to do when they're pressured and get increasingly clumsy.

It would be pretty unlikely though to have caught the wolf who would NK and then duplicate the action… unless it’s a wolf ability.
It would be an unbalanced wolf ability because then they could get two kills every night. I would see it as villager/3p noob because I used the redirect on people I was sus of and caught weagle using their wolf block by chance. Just tinfoiling lol, but it's still possible. Doubt it's the case though as others have said there's so many possibilities

Like hedging your bets. You say something in a way that gives you enough room to backpedal. Sometimes, a lot of room.
How would wolves know who has a PR on D1? Or are some of the vets so good/experienced at making reads that you can also figure out who has a PR early on?
Depends on the D1 and who is playing but, yeah, a decent number of times you can get a good guess of at least who's more likely than not to have a PR. People soft reveal with the way that answer certain things or get cagey.

Doesn't matter. Still happened. It just means you were confirmed to be a ballsy wolf as early as 17 games ago.
It was only my fifth game, and Dubz didn't have a reading card on me yet. The reason I would call a N1 kill on Dubz ballsy for me now is because everyone knows she can read me very well and it would be dangerous for me, at this stage in my play, to kill her N1 and paint a target on my back. Seventeen games ago, I chose that kill because I was a nervous noob wolf with not a lot of strategy going on, it was a weakling kill.

That's wifom. I have no reason to believe someone wouldn't do something after they already did it once. Trust comes from never doing something.

I agree. I find the reasoning along the same lines as “I was a wolf last game so I can’t be a wolf now.... but this is what I WOULD have done as a wolf” it’s faulty reasoning imo

Have I killed her N1 before? I know I've pushed a last minute vote on her.

Samac is a strong village read for me right now based on her questions for zenge, and I track her over all thought process. I also like that she doesn't hesitate to disagree with some people. Feels like a VT.

I voted Mel earlier and quoted the same post.
Why ask vis and not me?
This post in particular makes me feel like she's paying attention and trying to evaluate others. Looks like genuine wolf-hunting to me.

I was blindsided by the noob game where being vanilla was the exception. It looks like it’s more probable than that. They also probably don’t have a seer, or it’s 1x action and they keep it for later.

Samac has felt village for me too, at least enough for me to not ISO her.

The Genny NK is more perplexing for me than Dubz. She was on my more wolfy reads for the same reason youngkal was..
I think youngkal is in the clear for me atm cause she couldn’t have gone after Genny, Genny convinced Zenge to change votes.

You mean you think there are (a lot) more vanillagers this game than in the noob game? I have to agree since you claimed to be a vanillager & both dubz and genny were vanillagers. I doubt that's all the vanillagers there are

Really though? Cause I feel like I am ~le fukked~ by the NK, being her target before the nk.

Unless everyone here realizes that's not how I'd wolf, when I finally get to wolf, in which case THANK YOU for giving me some credit for having two brain cells to rub together

(Only two though)

Yes, but I was saying “what?” to the way you were using that to clear youngkal.

I’m not sure I follow the logic.
Well my first instict after a NK is to go over who the dead was after. Genny seemed to agree with youngkal throughout yesterday, and they both voted Ivy. When I went after youngkal, my thought was I'd try to ISO genny today. I was thinking "what if youngkal genny and octo are all wolves trying to do a pressure vote to not get attention on themselves". So obv that's not true. Any way, I don't think Ill go after youngkal today, cause if I was her and a wolf, I'd keep my allies and people I agree with alive.

Wolves have killed villagers who were backing them up before. It's not clearing especially given genny had no info on yk.

On the other hand, there might be another packmate that genny wasn't so agreeable with, so it doesn't necessarily mean youngkal couldn't be a wolf. But I think it's not a bad point and I'll keep in the back of my mind
Thanks for saying that. I'll look into who you were after too.
Keep in mind that villagers could also have that ability and might have done that because they think samac is a wolf

My thoughts on genny: not a wolf kill.

idk, she seemed involved and following at that time. i don't have anything from her thus far other than avoidance of the thread. If she wants to come on and spew village, i'll change my vote.
I would be surprised if she was killed by wolves. I had genny on my neutral/leaning wolf list. I found it strange that she yeeted Ivy for inactivity and said that she would change her vote if Ivy came on and "spewed village," yet when Ivy came on genny didn't seem to react to it much.

i'm not bullying you, i'm asking you to participate in the process a little earlier.
this conversation between genny & zenge stuck out to me

i didn't find it aggressive at all. fluff pressured kal to move a vote without a reason for moving it, and kal questioned fluff's motive for that pressure. if anything, fluff's yeet is an overreaction.
genny defended kal in regards to kal's (aggressive?) comment towards fluff.

genny barely had any posts and this is really all I could pick up on. Makes me think that genny was killed by village/neutral and that maybe ivy, zenge, or fluff felt a little threatened. I do also think that might not be what happened, as the info on genny is small and since I've narrowed down to three people so quickly it feels very ballsy and not something I could see fluff or zenge doing. Ivy however I am stuck on, due to them wanting to cause a three way tie, I don't think I would be as surprised if they were involved with this

I'm sorry, a lot of what I had quoted has already been addressed but I'm mostly caught up on today's posts.

Really not feeling great about fluff's vanillager comment, but also not sure that I'm ready to yeet over it.

Ivy was frequently absent during the noob game. As was I, and we were both village. Actually, I think the majority of the less active players were village. Not that that necessarily means much but I don't know that I'd read it wolfy now.

Got back from work and now I'm juggling laundry, cooking dinner and negotiating a raise while trying to catch up on a lot of conversation. Plus it's D1 so not the most helpful conversations. Unfortunately won't have a ton of insight today.

I have no idea what to do with any of Lawpy's comments. I don't think they're wolfy and my vote was a joke but no one is really sticking out to me as strongly wolf so I'm also not overly inclined to move it.

Just included because of what I said above with Ivy being somewhat absent in the noob game.
This may be answered later (edit: and if so i’ll get to it, dont worry about answering), but who are you leaning wolf?

If you think it might be a village vig who made the shot, might be best not to go hunting after them and leave a trail for the wolves to follow

And usually people who aren't wolves with shots make those shots because they think they're catching a wolf, not necessarily because they feel threatened
