Colorado State c/o 2026 Applicants

IS rejection. They said there were more than 4000 applicants. Why do they have to do the email and then make you log in and click on a bunch of links before you can get to the decision? Just tell me outright!

OOS rejection. Not too bummed as I have 4 interviews, but they said they had 4,000 applications this year 👀

OOS rejection. I am not too sad about that since I have had 5 interviews already this cycle + 2 more interviews in this month.

OOS Rejection - not too upset about it because with the number of applicants I was expecting it!

OOS rejection, although not surprised. I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'm glad I at least have an interview at my top choice. Good luck to everyone who received an offer!

I'm really curious but for those of you with interviews, where did you apply to and is this your first cycle? This is my first cycle and I applied to 7 schools (wish I had done more preparation beforehand though and more thoroughly researched every single vet school in the States) and have been rejected from 4 schools and am still waiting to see if I can get an interview invite from 3 others. I am starting to kind of lose hope for this cycle though to be honest.

Colorado doesn’t have interviews, you are either in or not

Colorado doesn't do interviews, it's just straight acceptance or rejection from them (and waitlist of course)

Don’t start to lose hope! It’s still lots of time this cycle! I applied to 9 schools total (7 in the US + 1 in Canada + Ross) and it’s my first cycle. CSU is my first rejection in this cycle. I have 2 offers already and still waiting to hear back from the three schools that I have interviewed with. Two more interviews soon in this month...

I am pretty sure OP is asking about in general. The only two schools I have received interviews for is my IS that takes hardly any OOS applicants and UMN which has a smaller pool of applicants in general. I am still waiting to hear back from 5 schools, but I don’t have much hope for them. It really is a tough process.

OOS rejection, 2nd cycle. I really wish these schools still did individual file reviews. The generalized ones don't really help. Good luck to everyone else, hope you get some good news!

Im literally shaking. Im at work all day so I'm gonna have my mom open my decision when I get home from work lmao

First time applicant as well. I think I applied to like 10 schools. Got 3 interviews, still waiting to hear back from 1 more to see if I get an interview. Got waitlisted at UF and Tenesse. Still waiting to hear back from NCSU and UGA.

OOS rejection. Feels better knowing that there were so many applicants, but still rough.

OOS rejection, I knew it was a long shot anyway. I have my hopes on Kansas State. Congrats to those accepted and vet prep accepted!!!

This is literally unbelievable. I’m shaking at work. OOS acceptance to Vet Prep.
What is vet prep? Is that something you apply for separately or just w the regular app? I dont remember seeing that on the application

Lol yeah, just to clarify on my last post if anyone as still curious, I was talking about vet schools in general and not CSU in particular.

Congrats on that! 2 offers are great! Thanks for the motivation too, it means a lot :')

Yeah, it definitely is. Congrats on the interviews though! I really hope that you get into at least one of your schools!

Lol the struggle as a first time applicant is real. But congrats on those interviews! I hope you get off the waitlist/accepted into one of your schools!

Thank you! Good luck to you, we got this!! If not this year then the next!!

Did everyone get emails? I haven't gotten one but my portal did update to say waitlisted. I would be curious to know how many get waitlisted!
