Hoping for good news tomorrow!! Can't believe we've hit January already 😳
your notification made my heart ****ing sink lmaoThere's something so soul-crushing about waiting for a phone call that might never come lol
your notification made my heart ****ing sink lmao
you’re so right.I was looking back at old threads it looks like in years when they conduct calls that they do it over 2 days. Maybe that means it’ll be Monday since they’ll have 2 business days?
Good luck bestie 🫡see y’all on monday 🫡 if anyone needs me, i’ll be panicking in the CSU thread since they historically have done Jan 3rd
AAVMC’s website says that the class of 2027 had 371 resident applicantsDoes anyone know the stats for NYS residents applying vs accepted? I know they reserve 60 spots for only NYS residents.
Hoping, yes! Optimistic? Eh, not so much 😅Are we hoping for Monday calls?
Ditto, I'm IS and I still feel like I have less than a 0.000000001% shot 🤣 regardless of what day decisions come out lmaoHoping, yes! Optimistic? Eh, not so much 😅
I believe in past years they leave a voicemail! If not then you'll find out from your portal what your decision was!Yall I work on Monday… if we get calls what happens if I can’t answer?
How did Tufts do it?I almost wish Cornell (and other schools that don't interview) did what Tufts did this cycle 😭 that way I wouldn't be stressing over getting a call when I could have been cut months ago 😔
oh my god my bday is on Jan 11.... I hope this doesn't happen to me goddddLast year I got my rejection letter from Cornell on Jan 11th. Not sure if they do acceptances first, but just to give last years timeline!
Tufts sent out an email in mid December notifying a group of people who did not move forward in the application process. They'll release decisions in mid February, so it was nice that we didn't just have radio silence from them from September - February. How did Tufts do it?
My boss tomorrow: "okay, can you explain to me again why 2-3 year old internet posts caused you to get less than an hour of sleep last night?"I feel so bad for the next Cornell hopefuls who will dig through these old threads to get an estimate for their cycle. All they will see is the up and down chaos we made haha
Ah, yeah, that is nice. I’m sure I would have been in that first group if Cornell did that 😅Tufts sent out an email in mid December notifying a group of people who did not move forward in the application process. I think feline exclusive clinics are such a great idea! Just out of curiosity, was yours in a pretty urban area? I’ve not seen any in suburban or rural areas, presumably because it’d be harder to build a viable client base there.Exotics! (also loved my time at a feline exclusive clinic 👀)

Undecided but thinking shelter med! While we wait, what are everyone's areas of interest? Mine is shelter med.
We have a couple feline-only clinics in the suburbs near me. That would probably be my backup option if I burn out of shelter med.I think feline exclusive clinics are such a great idea! The clinic I shadowed at is in a very suburban area (I'm from Metro Detroit)! There's actually a second feline exclusive clinic in the area as well; both are only 10 minutes from my house in opposite directions, which is pretty unique.I think feline exclusive clinics are such a great idea! I'm very much on the reptile side of exotics 🐍 though I loveddd working with rats/mice at my wildlife/exotics internship this summer 😀Same!!! As for exotics, all pocket pets with a special focus on sugar gliders
So in other words your interests are cats and snakes? 🤣Exotics! (also loved my time at a feline exclusive clinic 👀)
