why the 🤔 on this @holdthemayo ?

From a practical matter, @pxton has this locked down unless anyone can shed some serious suspicion on her or can make a very compelling argument for another mayor.
I'm an early pxton supporter and everything I've seen since has made me comfortable with that vote, but I'm curious if any of the other candidates want to use this chance for an argument why they would make a better mayor than pxton?

I agree that the fast bandwagoning is mildly concerning. At the same time, I don't feel comfortable enough about any of the other contenders. Nemo literally had his name thrown into the hat at random, moth is all for one and one for moth (though has been very vocal), and I didn't hear compelling reasons for fluff or zuri.

I am holding off on voting pxton just yet because I feel the same mild concern lol.

What would please them?

A sacrifice obviously.

One was torn from their number and placed upon the pyre. And he burned. Oh, his screams pierced the night as his soul was rended from its' prison.

Dead is @holdthemayo - Human, neutral and the intended first night death. Despite the betrayal, he elected to stay and provide guidance to the newly released creatures.

There was some confusion among their number but was brought quietly into submission.

The air was thick, too still. A crack of lightning lit the air.

Modkilled is @cobrien01 who was [redacted], a villager.

Some others failed to act with the powers granted to them. The Old Ones will not forget. Ever watchful.

You have been warned.

In my defense, I just wanted to be mayor because I was curious what the secret power was. I'm not saying pxton because I feel like they ran a pretty normal campaign and weren't suspicious, but I think the dogpiling on pxton was suspicious, so I'm starting with matthirten13 - who was the first after pxton to respond. If holdthemayo was still alive I would've voted them instead because they were the most suspicious.

If you think anyone is more suspicious than matt, I am more than willing to change my vote to them.

Edit: as a show of good faith, I even made my vote for matt not final for the time being.

Sorry - wasn't following the thread closely enough then 🙁 entirely my bad.
Also, how do you pronounce your username: is it "matt-hirten" or "ma-thirten" before the 13? I was using the first pronunciation so shortened it to matt
