DMU vs OUWB

Hi everyone,

I got accepted at DMU (DO) and OUWB (MD). I really want to release the spot from one of these schools to another person ASAP, so I want you guys' opinion on which I should attend. Yes, I did use the search button and find 1 thread from 2012. It seemed like everyone in that thread suggested OUWB over DMU.

I'm very much impressed with both schools. (OUWB even has a Twitter account AND an interview tracker!). DMU has a solid record and a huge network of alumni. OUWB is newer but it's affiliated with Beaumont hospital system, which is one of the best in Michigan. Costs of attendance are similar between the two with OUWB being 3-4k more expensive per year. Most importantly, I feel that both schools are great fits for me. The students and faculties at both schools seem very genuinely happy. So I'm having a hard time deciding. Thank you all for reading and any suggestions/comments will be greatly appreciated.

OUWB no doubt. Having a health system affiliation is something you should always try and have under your list of resources with your medical school.
