I was rebutting what he said. He was saying it was better to not self-pres in many circumstances because if you flip after being firm on your opinions then village can have a confirmed village voice to follow the opinions of. I was disagreeing with that being a reason not to self-pres.
 
My POE right now is AM , Cubs , Cray.

Feel like its less likely for Cray/Cubs to be a team , so I will likely vote AM.

If that doesnt work out. need to evaluate if Dubz/Mel is a possibility. There has been a lot of Dubz/Mel content but there is a chance they decided on a strategy to do exactly that to throw people off track.
 
Cray - put pressure on Bob D1 and then continued to vote him D2. Probably village, could be wolf just maintaining her D1 reads to stay under the radar but less likely.

Chaos - backed up cray’s theory on D1 but D2 had bob at the lowest priority. also had a post potentially outting bob as the protection target. continues to put bob at a village stance with no reasoning explained.

Cubs - doesn’t mention bob D1. First post with a read on bob came D2 agreeing with WZ, he makes multiple “I agree with bob, Bob is village” type posts on D2. Reads like a pocket/white-knight attempt to gain village cred if/when bob flips.

WZ - Kind of hedgey about her village bob read D2, called it a meta tone read in the end. I don't like this but I'm more worried about cubs in this scenario.

There's scum somewhere between these 4.

Lawpy woke up in anticipation of being able to eat another donut. This morning is a good one for him, as he happily gets to snack on another donut (also his favorite). The donuts however are becoming increasingly concerned about their suddenly deteriorating situation.

I'm actually a little confused why you so strongly think a wolf would move bob into their village reads just because they were unable to kill him. They wouldn't necessarily know he was protected, depending on how night results work this game, in which case failure to kill him might make them want to try to get him yoten instead, or at least pressure him into saying more about what happened. And even if they did know he was protected, they'd be more likely to be able to get a feel for who the protector was if they floated bob as sketchy and looked for who defended him.

Feels different from wolf cubs to me still, I need to reread some things though (which I'm hoping to do over lunch maybe).

Also the more I think about it the more the chaos kill feels a little weird.

It’s harder to say since in the last few games where she’s had less time her style has definitely been different, but I still haven’t got any village cray feelings that I usually do and I feel some possible hesitancy to make enemies or put out interactions

Understandable. But as a wolf I liked posts after yeet to help determine my NK and frame others.
 
On above post, mainly pointing compatability between cray and Genny.

I still like Cray for wolf but willing to go dubz or even AM. Just so I’m not tunneled on cray. I am less certain about Cubs. And I have been liking Mel more as village but he has reputation as good wolf play.

I need to go back and look at D1 and D2 votes to make sense of the lack of movement. Just no time now

Chaos kill looks like they got tired of being blocked and tried to just get their kill through on someone not blocked. Plus, I liked some of chaos reads and I’m guessing they didn’t

Yeah as far as reads go it's kind of a question of whether or not they saw his updated list before submitting the kill. No way to know that.

i think that if night close was strictly followed, then they didn’t see chaos’ most recent list before submitting NK.

Edit- nm bc night close is later than what I am used to it being. So maybe they did see it and there is no way of knowing.

Just read through cray's posts. I still feel like I'm not getting much from her in terms of gameplay relevant stuff. Weird to me how little she has talked about me and AM, she usually loves to sus us. Hmm hmm.

I didn't just look at who was village reading Bob, I pulled up analysis of everyone that had significant interactions with bob whether that was voting for him or it was putting him in their village reads: WZ, Cubs, Cray, and Chaos. Of these, Cubs feels the wolfiest due to repeated statements like "oh bob feels so villagey, I really like Bob's logic here, etc."

There are times you clear people for something minor and don't go back to evaluate them. Most recently see the game I died and came back and Dubz was a wolf (baby animals?)
And don't start saying you were right just because she was a convert, conversion potential is even more so a reason to be constantly re-evaluating players.

What I'm saying is the conclusion seems to be based on who was village reading bob after he was protected, and I'm not sure I follow the logic there

Actually, I never said she couldn't be converted, I simply said there was no was she was an original. Of course, I also said village never wins when they pursue the convert hunt first and boy was I wrong about that.

Regardless, are you implying you were convert hunting Vis?

Hmm. These were my reads (minus visc). And I don't see the Cubs sus like he and others do, but could very well be wrong on him.

Wolves are being consistent on attacking me and Chaos who have AM and cray on our lists. It is either trying to steer us in a misyeet or protect themselves. I will let you guys give feedback on whether you think wolfAM/wolfCray would do this.

If Cubs is trying to pocket me, I don't see why he would choose to NK me. Maybe if he was trying to whiteknight me and gain points off a village flip.
 
I could see them trying to frame AM after her ongoing debate with chaos. But AM seems more agreeable and jokey than I am used to so the tone continues to feel slightly different to me.

So inherently from this post, you are also reading Bob village. Yet its ok for you to do that because you didnt "announce it" on D2? Im not gonna go back and count but I may have called Bob village 3 times. The time I agreed with Dubz, the time I said he definitely feels more village to me and then... I dunno? maybe as part of an overall reads list? It seems a strange point to be concentrating on out of nowhere since your top wolf read claimed protector.

Ummmm... you actually followed up on my agreeing with his read on vis and "went and ISO'd her" to look into it further, and then you started voting her. So youre going to say Bob actually did appear to have a good read at the time, but that my comment on it feels manufactured?

I don’t think it’s genny’s wolfing style to shade someone for being suspicious of her partner… by trying to goad them into putting their vote where their mouth is. I guess she could be trying to somehow pysch me out of actually voting for cray, but I don’t see how her comment would scare me into voting for someone else.
