I agree that the tithing/not tithing will probably become significant when the thread falls, as a few people have already speculated. It sounds like the tithe is necessary for the survival of the dragon riders (since the initial writeup said something about the dragon riders not having enough time to tend crops to feed themselves), so I wonder if failure to tithe enough times before the thread comes would result in the dragon riders (or dragons, if we're thinking that the riders are vanilla and the dragons are the ones with abilities) not being able to perform actions. It's also possible that it's unrelated to abilities and is simply a measure of whether or not the dragon riders can sustain themselves. I have been reading a lot of old games and in LIS' Itditarod game, everyone had to keep a certain number of dogs to stay in the game...so maybe the dragon riders have to receive so many tithes in order to survive or something like that.

Actually, agree with Lupin, going to ###Unlynch RM, Lynch FFM### to give someone an incentive to defend before it gets too late.

So what is your reason for voting for someone in the same hold? Feel like tithing more often?

Not sure what your reasoning means, unless you are just hopping on a bandwagon.

Also lynching abstract concepts, people who aren't playing, or the mods is not a recommended strategy to avoid aforementioned mod wrath. ;)

You know, I hadn't even thought about that, but you bring up a good point that as players are lynched/wolf killed it will be more and more difficult for holds to tithe. Eventually toward end game many of the groups probably won't be able to tithe at all. We may also run into the problem of not being able to use certain player abilities if they choose to tithe and there aren't many players left in their group. I wonder what the implications of tithing will be on the game mechanics later on.
 
Also, i will mention that as of yet, i have no abilities. I need to find someone to get them...
 
You know, I don't quite get some of these last minute votes. Gwen voting for guise who has no votes yet and so is a throw away vote. Hmoo voting me after I have obviously shown some knowledge of the game and am around. Can people please start playing the game with a little more thought? I don't care if it is first day. We are in the last hour of lynch and this is when you make decisions based on who is going down.

This is why I'm reluctant to just start hacking off people in my hold. The possibility of a wolf/ability thief there is definitely something I want to keep in mind but I'm not sure I want to kill everyone to find it.

I also think the gwen vote for guis is weird because guis said she was attacked last night.

True. But it also doesn't help you putting in a vote that means nothing. As much I dislike going DVMD right now, I am likely to change. I don't want people who aren't going to play here either. Dead weight is not wanted.

I'm always really suspicious of people that jump on a vote. I get that we need to lunch someone but there was seriously very little thought behind my vote for ffm.

I did ALMOST cute for dvmd though because if I made a game, I'd totes make a late comer something cool. But didn't vote that way because what if it's cool AND good!

Is there a reason I'm missing why the wolves would want to target people within their hold? I mean if there are wolves in every/most holds then it's a moot point but still curious on the reasoning

Also, I'm not saying you're a wolf, but being around and having game knowledge =/= good

First thoughts that come to mind would be that by thinning out your own group, you narrow communication, forcing other group members to talk to you maybe?

I mean, there is some thought put behind a couple lynch votes.
 
The way I see it, we know that guis was attacked, and survived. We also know that someone attempted to take FB's ability, which failed. So that's two groups wide open to suspicion. Which doesn't mean that other groups are wolf free, or even that FB or Guis' groups have wolves in them.
 
Crap, sorry I'm cutting it close. had to head to brothers graduation party right after work and will be here for a while, so this vote doesn't have any thought unfortunately--I don't want to pile on the front runner a half hour before deadline, so I'm picking from those who have more than one votes already.
