I started to watch Breaking Bad at one point last year but I think I missed the entire last half of the series! Anyone else watch that?

Me!! Love Breaking Bad, House, South Park, Family Guy. I also like Dirty Jobs, Scrubs, Law and Order:SVU, though I don't watch those as much. Oh and Nip/Tuck. I haven't been good about seeing this season though.

I watch old Firefly, cause its Shiny! 😀

I like to rent old CSI:Crime Scene Investigation from the library.
I loved FarScape.
I DVR Battlestar Galactica and watch on my days off. I don't know how I lived without a DVR. 😍
I watch Ugly Betty and will catch the occasional House marathon on USA.

Haven't found anybody yummy on TV, lately. But, then again, I have a weird taste in men. just ask my dh.

These days, I mostly only watch Burn Notice and Psych. When I get the time in the midde of the day, I watch A Haunting on Discovery Channel (part of my never-ending crusade to desensitize myself to scary things on TV). It's a running joke with my roommates that I watch that show. And I try to watch Mythbusters, House, and NCIS when they're on, but I rarely get the chance.

Lately, I've been watching Legend of the Seeker on my computer. It's based on Terry Goodkind's series The Sword of Truth, which I never read. It made me want to read the series, though.

any Samantha Brown show on Travel Channel!

Definitely! Have had a crush on her since I first saw an episode. I've recently started DVR'ing The Biggest Loser. Can't watch a single episode without tearing up. I watch Californication because of Natasha. She is gorgeous. LOVE murder mysteries, so I always watch Prime Suspect, Midsomer Murders, etc whenever they air. Lots of Animal Planet, esp the rescue shows (and esp Houston's cuz they do a lot of large animal rescuing). And I'll definitely add my vote for The Daily Show & Colbert Report.

If "seeker" made you want to read the series, the books will probably send you into a euphoric state. The books are amazing-especially the first 6 or so. The last three or four do kind of suck though. The tv show-Kahlan is the only character decently cast. Richard and Zedd are ugh....

FREAKS AND GEEKS, Arrested Development, Simpsons, Futurama, 30 Rock, Extras, News Radio, Northern Exposure, Pushing Daises.

I've heard good things about it, but none of it made me want to read it. I never thought I'd turn into one of those people that read a book because of a TV show! 😛 I'll have fun comparing the book to the show, though.

Anyone else addicted to VH1 trashy reality TV??? I can't pull myself away from it! something about watching other people make fools out of themselves wearing next to nothing is HILARIOUS!:laugh::laugh:

I love Grey's A as well... what can I say...

I have to add... DIRTY JOBS! Mike Rowe is hottness. Also, Mythbusters and Top Gear. Those are pretty much it for things I'll DVR weekly. I could watch a Planet Earth marathon for hours and hours, though.

Glad to see another Top Gear fan on here--that show's hilarious!

When I have the time (not so much lately), I too like Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, & Planet Earth, as well as The Office, 30 Rock, Food Network "Challenges" (where they have to whip up elaborate themed cakes & other things within a certain time frame), Ace of Cakes, Survivorman, Family Guy, Scrubs, Monty Python, random things on IFC or the Sundance Channel, and the newer Dr. Who stuff (just getting into it).

Yeah, it's so cute to sit in here and listen to my husband giggling at the TV in the living room while he watches Top Gear. Haha.

And that's only when it's an episode that I've already seen. 😉

Watched the one yesterday - was pretty funny even though they made fun of us a lot. They like to do that, y'know. Haha.

Missed it yesterday--we both had it in our heads that it was Tuesday for some reason. Hate being a day off like that. Stupid holiday weekends mess with my head sometimes. 😛

But next Monday, that means we'll see 2, back-to-back!

I only watch a few shows religiously (always via DVR): Top Chef, Battlestar Galactica, 24, Deadliest Catch and Burn Notice. I love just about everything on the Discovery Channel also.

In recent history:
True Blood
Pushing Daisies
Big Love
Flight of the Conchords
United States of Tara
The L-Word
Forensic Files
Cold Case Files
South Park
Real Time w/ Bill Maher
Drawn Together

But in the grand scheme of TV history:
#1 (Ever): Twin Peaks
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
X-Files
Kids in the Hall
Mystery Science Theater 3000
Xena
Six Feet Under
China Beach
Wonderfalls
Dead Like Me

Ok, this is totally random (well, not totally...) but I was watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 last night, and I know a few of you said you watch the show as well. Spoiler alert! Did anyone see the preview for next Monday's show? They are getting puppies! I am rediculously excited to see that episode.

[/nerd]

I have a soft spot for VH-1 because I was on it once! And yes, I bring that up every chance I get. And yes, I am posting just to say that. LOL

But really, I watch a TON of TV (as a major pop culture junkie)
Sunday: The Amazing Race, sometimes Family Guy, The L Word, The US of Tara
Monday: Chuck, Gossip Girl, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, 24
Tuesday: 90210 (trainwreck!), The Biggest Loser, American Idol, Scrubs
Wednesday: American Idol again, The Real World: Brooklyn
Thursday: The Office, 30 Rock, Grey's Anatomy (which I have SO fallen out of love with, UGH)
Friday: The Soup and DOLLHOUSE! Whedonites 4ever 🙂

Random: True Blood, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Tim & Eric's Awesome Show, The Real Housewives of Absolutely Anywhere, and various movie review shows because I am also a movie nut.

And I still miss Buffy the Vampire Slayer more than you could possibly imagine!

I'm happy to report that I was not on any variety of Venereal Disease of Love, hahaha. I was on the 2nd season of the World Series of Pop Culture.

Glad to see there are a few other Burn Notice watchers! None of my friends from home have even HEARD of it (What?!) Does anyone else have a huge crush on Jeffrey Donovan? lol

Law and Order:SVU was/is a fave, although I've gotten fairly bored w/it since I found a site where I could watch episodes online and proceded to watch EVERY SINGLE ONE within the span of a few weeks😳

Other favorites are Friends, Family Guy, Ace of Cakes, most other crime shows, and most shows on Animal Planet

Watch weekly:
The Soup!
Top Chef
Lost (though I don't know why anymore)
Flight of the Conchords

All time favorites:
Space Ghost C2C
Arrested Development
The Sopranos
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Home Movies
Reno 911
The State
Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Puppies, with all those children? Good lord, I'd sooner die. Man. It's too much. I like that show but my husband hates it, says it stresses him out lol. I guess it could function as birth control for some... haha.

Kdub, I forgot The Soup! I forget about it all the time, but I love when I catch it! Joel Mchale is hilarious and, uh, easy on the eyes too. Lol.

Also, since we're admitting to enjoying some not-so-grownup programming, I've seen all of the episodes of Rob & Big, Viva La Bam (<3 Bam Margera lol) and uh... Jackass. Hey, it's funny, when it's not disgusting. 😀

And to round that out, I also like Modern Marvels. There, now I look intelligent again. Sort of. 😆

The only show I watch religiously now is Criminal Minds 🙂

I also own the entire series of Friends and The X-Files, and I'll enjoy an episode of House, Scrubs, or Bones if I notice them playing.

I am currently watching Lost (I'm a bit behind though, gotta catch up), The Bachelor, Gossip Girl (guilty pleasure), and various anime (finished Honey & Clover II, just started Sola and Mononoke). I will watch America's Next Top Model (another mindless, but fun show) when it starts, and will catch snippets of American Idol when it nears the end, heh. I'm a fan of game shows (Wheel of Fortune, Pyramid, The Price is Right, etc.) but only watch them when I'm not in school.

Oldies/off seasoners but goodies include: Heroes, Veronica Mars, Angel, and Alias.

I'm resurrecting this "old" thread for the sole purpose of emphasizing that Battlestar Galactica is *the* best show ever to grace my television!

The series just came to an end after 6 or so years of fabulousness, and I really don't know what I'm going to do with my Friday nights from now on....

Any others watch? Like/dislike the end?

Ah! Battlestar Galactica is like Lost for me - both of them I LOVED in the beginning, and completely lost interest in at some point. For Battlestar Galactica, it was on New Caprica. I've been told it got back to being better - but...I just couldn't get behind that seasons, and stopped watching.

Battlestar Galactica definitely takes the cake. It's by far the most INTELLIGENT show I've ever seen. Nothing else can make you think about current events, politics and human nature like that show can.
Last night was the last episode... so now I'm sad 🙁

I also watch Lost and Fringe.
