My status got changed to 'preliminary review completed' yesterday on the online portal system for FIU......does anyone know what this means??

It means that your file has been reviewed and ranked. Rankings are reviewed for potential interviews from now through April. In the future, your questions will be answered with more haste if you post in the FIU thread.
