Georgetown vs. Rush

I am torn between accepting at Georgetown or Rush. What do you guys think? I am from the Chicago suburbs and would be near friends/family at Rush. Georgetown is better academically and in terms of residency matches, but is more expensive and more competitive. Rush is super cooperative and friendly. I am potentially interested in orthopedic surgery. I love both Chicago and D.C. Any advice/recommendations?

where are you getting your info from???? georgetown is known for putting people into ortho residencies and what they are known for

...admittedly i don't know about rush's ortho program but i do know georgetown is strong for ortho

i do agree with OP that it is an expensive choice

Rush is pretty big on Ortho.

I work at HSS. Rush Ortho is big time to put it lightly.
