Average GPAs and MCATs are on the lower end at those 2 schools. I know of people who got into both with low 20s on MCAT and 3.00-3.2 range. Of course they applied early and received very early interviews. I personally visited both Lake Erie and Lake Erie Bradenton in Florida and thought that both were pretty good schools. Both will make you a physician and both will work you hard so that you can do well on your boards.

Taken from LECOMs Admissions web-page

"Successful candidates typically have both science and overall grade point averages of 3.2 or above."

" Successful candidates typically have a mean MCAT score of 23.0."

Keep in mind that these are "minimum numbers". Certainly people with lower stats make it in, but they typically have some other significant achievement on their application to give them a boost. Also, I know plenty of classmates with past gpa's more around 3.5/3.6 and mcat's of 26/28. Like someone else said your aplication timing can make a difference.

They have all the schools at medschoolstats.com

Good luck!
