Hi all,

I am a rising senior, applying to med school this summer. I am trying to figure out my list of schools that I will be applying to. I have a draft, but I'm not sure if it is well-balanced and such. Let me know what you all think.

Here are my qualifications:

GPA: 3.9 (Biology Major)
Member of Phi Beta Kappa (inducted as a Junior)
First Honors 4 semesters
Second Honors 2 semesters

MCAT (new): 512, 87% percentile
California Resident

Laboratory Work: 2 years, and roughly 1300 hours in a Neuroscience lab, no publications
Volunteer Work: 300+ hours volunteering in hospitals (ED, ICU, and surgical unit), worked as a translator at a clinic in Guatemala for 2 weeks
Shadowing: 150 hours shadowing OB/GYN, Cardiology, Internal medicine, opthamology
Paid Employment: social media intern for university (6 hours per week)
Leadership: Vice President of Tour Guide Society (on board for 2 years), Major representative on Academic Council, New Student Orientation Captain (help to lead new student orientation for the past 2 years)
Teaching: Teaching Assistant for introductory Biology course (1 year, 120 hours)
Internships: Interned at Stanford School of Medicine, Summer 2013 in Cardiothoracic Surgery Department
