Finally caught up again! So we only lost one villager last night (and an assassin at that, so she could have taken out fellow villagers on accident if my understanding is correct), and we got killerleaf back! So not a terrible night for us villagers. I'm also curious if killerleaf's affiliation/ability is still the same.

Thank you for explaining this, I was also confused because I thought the wolves know who the other wolves are, so obviously everyone else is a villager (or chaos, but I THINK we only had one chaos).

I'm also frustrated that we don't have any obvious leads right now, but I agree revealing too much information is a bad idea. I'm not as set on lynching Dr. S as I was last night, I'll have to give it some thought over the next few hours. I'm a little surprised NOBODY has voted yet.

I'm catching up now. It was harder to stay caught up while traveling than I thought. I think after yesterday's lynch we're a little lynch shy and trying to vote carefully

By now, it's obvious that I am a villager who is the target of killer wolves.

First: I was attacked by some paralyzing liquid a few nights ago - absolutely terrifying!

Second: Last night (i.e., Night 3), another villager assassin (i.e., RAF) tried to assassinate me!

I have been a target for the killer wolves on two separate nights.

The wolves are clearly out to kill me and I am truly terrified!!!

The answer to a last minute waffle fest is not, in fact, to delay lynching once again. Interestingly enough, it's easier to avoid these things if people get their thoughts and defenses out earlier.

I think I agree with that. I'm just confused about how she's speaking. It's not really riddles or anything that seems like a straightforward incapacitation, it all just seems very indirect. And also super frustrating. I feel like we all keep waffling between her and someone else at the last minute and we haven't asked any real questions about anyone else in the game because no one knows what to make of her posts

Yeah. If we can't figure out something soon, I think we should either lynch Doctor-S or someone who hasn't been active (like sheltermed, who has been around briefly but not much and has really only given 1-line responses). I'm far from certain about either of those, but I think lynching Doctor-S would at least give us some information to use going forward (I think we'd find out more than just her role and if she's a villager in the write-up) and I think lynching inactive players will 1) likely draw out some wolves in hiding and 2) at least give players who are actively playing more of a chance.

I haven't ruled out that she could also be Chaos. I know the write-up said "individual art," but that could just mean that there's one juggler and there's another Chaos with a different role.

So now we know for sure that a villager tried to kill Doctor-S.

Yeah, I stand by what I said above. I'm really not sure about Doctor-S or some of our less-active players, but I think those are our best options.

I'll start the lynch in the hopes that Doctor-S at least comes out of hiding to defend herself and gets things going. Depending on how that goes I might waffle, but for now:

I think we need to make sure we have solid reasons for lynching- we successfully killed Chaos based on good reasons, but we've lynched villagers based on feelings and low-post counts. So I partially agree, but I think "a bad feeling" is not a good enough reason.

Though I'll admit I'm wary of her too. She defended Doctor-S a lot and then backtracked- could be a wolf trying to save another wolf and then trying to not look suspicious once the coast was clear. Or, just the same conflicted feelings towards Doctor-S that we all seem to have!

I think there's a good chance she's a wolf or chaos. It would explain a lot of her weird behavior, why chaos was defending her, and why a villager tried to kill her.

Is there a good reason to think she's helpful or definitely not a wolf? I know some people think she's a seer (though wolves can have seers too), but what information has she actually given us?

I know triple mdrmz has strongly gone for DrS and was the one to suggest going for the person who posts least. I feel like her posts aren't as insightful and mostly rehashing what others are saying. Not a good lead. But I don't have much else.

I don't know if there are normally neutral characters, but it's a decent thought. I believe she identified herself as a villager though?

Dr. S, you've been attacked twice by villagers now? I ask this because you say "another villager assassin". If you're only being attacked by villagers, how do you the wolves are trying to lynch you? And if you are a wolf target, why aren't you dead yet? Other than protections and weird things that seem to occur, I just feel like if the wolves wanted you, they would have gotten you! I would be pleading for villagers to leave you alone if they've come for you twice and people still have concerns about you.

I don't think redirection works the way it's being thought of. I believe if a kill is redirected off someone, the original target would have no idea about it. So I'm not sure what action was done to Dr.S (something that incapacitated them) but it wasn't a kill.

Yeah that is my understanding. I will ask my mentor to verify. So it could be an extra vote for villagers OR for wolves. It's a fine line.

Strongly gone for DrS? Are you saying for or against? In my opinion I see mmm's opinion of DrS changing with the game (which is pretty normal in my opinion), so please clarify what you mean here.
