I feel like it should've been in the writeup if someone attempted and failed to kill her

Idk if she tried to frame DrS, what I understood from her story was that she tried to use her "power" on DrS and it failed because SOMEONE ELSE protected DrS (said the juggler protected DrS)

Would there be more than one juggler though? Since she was a juggler... haha.

I think it was just a made up story to get us to look at DrS and not lynch her and put the juggler role on someone else. (potential that it's actually true, but why would she wait until the last possible second to say it if it were?)

Hmm, Dr. S did vote for hyge, but it was pretty early in the day, way before hyge tried to cast suspicion on her. Unless hyge was saying stuff against Dr. S before then, I can't remember. If both cdo and hyge had gotten wolf-killed I'd think you were onto something, but as it stands I'm still just very confused about Dr. S.

Definitely Dr. S... and I don't really trust BoB or h&h, but I've had a couple glasses of wine so I'll revisit those thoughts tomorrow.

Just returned from my holiday party (see Post #929) and caught up on this WW thread.

Learned that hygebeorht is deceased.

Without a doubt, hygebeorht was a cunning master of manipulation and deception who gleefully created chaos among the good villagers - hygebeorht was loyal to no one ... and she was NOT our true friend!

In summary, hygebeorht was a CHAOTIC player who could mimic one person's ability every odd night, and send an anonymous message to the faction of her choice on even nights.

See everyone tomorrow. Sleep well, and remain vigilant.

Dr. S was asking tons of questions at the beginning, there's the weird WHO-WHO-WHO thing and constant emphasis on being "logical", she targeted cdo who then ended up dead, and then there was the weird story about someone saving her last night. Personally, I don't like that. When I'm playing, if a living player does that it just screws me up and makes me think they're dead.

But some people like it to delineate game content from non-game content.

And there is an argument to be made that all is fair in love, war, and WW, so if you can con someone into thinking you're dead and not voting for you, well, good for you.

Unlike the night when the ringmaster died, which was humid and almost filled with a furious, electric energy, tonight was... calm. Quiet. The sky was cloudless and milky way shone with thousands of distant stars. The circus was traveling and had set up camp in a quiet rural area with nothing but silent woods and the occasional cow to keep them company. As normal, most of the performers settled down with friends, drank a little, played some cards, just passed the time happily (if ever so slightly more nervously, considering the last couple days).

It was only the rare person who even noticed the beautiful celestial sight, and really, that is a shame. Shouldn't we all take a second and look at the stars sometime?

Anyway, as you may have guessed, not everything was quiet and calm last night. When the circus gathered together in the morning to pack up and plan tonight's performance, they noticed two performers missing once again...

One was found in his room, his flute smashed out of his hand and head bloody from multiple blows.

Dead is @awesomenessity, Snake Charmer, a villager whose flute could beguile animal roles into private chats.

The second death was even more brutal. It was well known throughout the circus that the matriarch elephant was able to slip her chains and visit whomever she wished during the night, and the performers regularly turned a blind eye to her excursions... it was fun, really, when an elephant tapped on your window hoping for a snack. And she was always back in her spot by morning.

Well, she was still in her chains this morning, and her body was prone and cold, covered in a horrible assortment cruel prods and gashes. This was an of elephant that hadn't needed a bull hook for training for years and had never put a toe out of line; the performers could all barely fathom the cruelty she had been subjected to.

Dead is @killerleaf, Circus Elephant, a villager who could look deep into the eyes of one person nightly to determine their affiliation.​

It is now Day 3, and there are 17 performers remaining. Lynch will close at 9PM EST this evening.

Just caught up. First a thought on redirection
I don't think redirection works the way it's being thought of. I believe if a kill is redirected off someone, the original target would have no idea about it. So I'm not sure what action was done to Dr.S (something that incapacitated them) but it wasn't a kill. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I'm glad no one paid attention to this yesterday as we may not have gotten hyge. I did confirm with my mentor that redirection works like this. So not quite sure what was going on with DrS yesterday with the malevolent assailant and benevolent protector.

Interesting. I didn't really pay attention to the fact that it was one human and one animal death yesterday...I wonder if it's just always going to be two or if there's something that can prevent it from being two deaths?

Good to know. Guess I wasn't one of the lucky ones. I wonder what sort of items we have and what they do. Probably circus related items like a unicycle, popcorn, magician's hat, balloon, etc. Maybe they are props related to our roles somehow.

Well, there goes my elephant theory :/ Who could beat an elephant to death? Someone suggested strongman yesterday, there may be something to that.

I'm searching for motives for either of these killings. I looked through Nessy's posts and the only thing I see is that she voted to lynch jmo and a couple posts about maybe not trusting DocS. Nothing that would get her singled out.

I haven't made it through killer's posts yet.

it does look like the wolves have two kills a night..
So if it wasn't a redirection off DrS like we were previously thinking, coops and conn were the original targets on N1. DrS was supposedly also attacked. If DrS was attacked, I do not believe it was hyge that did it, even though that's what she said.. I definitely do not believe that chaos would be telling us the truth at all. We should definitely take everything she said with a grain of salt.

I just looked through killer's posts and they only voted to lynch Bottle of Bear. Maybe it has something to do with that?
