Ladies and Gentlemen... a Noob WW Game Thread!

It absolutely killed me that nobody questioned Trashpan very thoroughly even though they implied heavily on thread several times that they had a seering role and people knew there was likely a scum role that could seer with tarot cards.

I've never seen noobs who were so hesitant to discuss and share roles, I think the mentors impressed it upon them that it's usually not good game play and they took it to heart. Honestly I think it made for much more thoughtful play from most of the players. At least they weren't trained into bad habits early lol.

Instead of panda they just kept circling back to me and then lynching someone else

Oh, and the dead have heard this, but we just have to call out that @LetItSnow, with no actual info, lynched BYOB and correctly pegged there being four wolves.

also, just to clear some stuff up, I was going to take out DrS the night I died (N3?) because even though I thought she was a villager, I wanted to A. Not die with my ability (which I did anyway..) and B. I thought she was too much of a distraction to everyone and was taking away from conversation for looking for actual wolves.

You're spot on with this. If I were a wolf I would have kept cdo, SkiOtter, and DrS around because they probably would either be the most distracting or the most amusing. A focused village will find wolves, a distracted village will serve wolves well.

Can I have a moment to express my frustration every time my name came up as a wolf? Hahahaha. It was literally me sitting in front of my computer ranting to my boyfriend "HOW CAN THEY THINK I AM A WOLF? WE ARE WASTING TIME HERE. NOT WOLF. NOT WOLF." I'm sure he got thoroughly sick of me 🤣

Before I played WW I wondered why people would get so worked up about getting lynched, because it made no sense.

Then I played WW and got lynched and freaked out so hard I earned the nickname meathead lol. Lynching is srs bznz

whatever it was, it led to killer seering BYOB and then having a very poor reason to explain why she was lynching him the next day

Yeah. The problem with me is that I knew if I didn't tell everything that night, I would have to go back to gifs and pictures (shoutout to my amazing mentor Kam, btw, for helping me through the frustrations of being a mime) and I had PM'd DrS some fierce accusations, so I figured I was going to be dead anyways.

But if you had stayed alive we would've been able to pm all that next day. And who knows I might've been able to try a pm with you a second time, I never got the chance to try with anyone. (And the mods said "we'll see........")

I got off really, really easy. I think the whole game, I got one actual lynch vote on the very last day. I got lucky that Snowshoe happened to track me when I wasn't doing anything (besides seering seher) and then basically rode that plus the twins not dying instantly the rest of the game.

I find it extra amusing because you were super quiet, absent a lot, super unhelpful as a "village" seer (you didn't even have a narrowed down list of potential wolves, which many seers give when LyLo happens), and you weren't particularly scared of dying in many of your posts. All things that people usually get lynched for. 😛

I also got super, super busy/had major changes in plans towards the end of the game and asked trilt for a replacement but she couldn't get one. I was half hoping I'd get lynched because I didn't have time for the game (though it was a lot of fun!) and not being around much seemed to help.

Oh! I wanted to add... I was offered some cotton candy today in the game (left outside my tent), and could eat it if I wanted but wouldn't know what it would do to me until after. I did eat it. Was this an item from someone?

Yeah, super absentee wolves are usually a combination of strategy and IRL stuff. Most wolves try to hang in the middle of the pack so as not to stand out too much, so being super quiet actually probably helped you a lot because most people would reason that it would be silly for a wolf to be so quiet that it would be noticeable during a game. Very much a WIFOM situation
