Yes, I feel like it’s small batches versus big waves. Hoping we hear more come tomorrow since the first deadline is then.

Those who received acceptances in April after the VMCA deadline had until May 7th to accept or decline their acceptance. So I would expect after May 7th we should see more movement hopefully.

Working on my LMU app now, Im a second time applicant but I didnt apply to LMU last year. I'm shooting for Spring 2026, but open to fall or even the new opcvm as that would be instate for me. Im filling out their supplements now and there are the simple questions such as:
What are your plans following the completion of your DVM degree?
and
Where do you intend to practice veterinary medicine?

How should I approach these? I want to be specific and say my goal is food animal/ public health but as someone not in veterinary school I do not know if I should be specific to what area I want to practice in. Thoughts?

I would imagine you could only defer fall semester to fall semester. From what I’ve seen, I don’t believe you can defer from fall to spring, but doesn’t hurt to ask!

I am unsure when your class’ orientation date is, but Fall classes for all semesters start August 4, 2025.
They will send you a welcome package in the mail and I believe that gave us more specific information.
