All passengers onboard woke up and slowly made their way to the Main Hall. The Captains explained what had happened to everyone onboard.
The
Nautilus had been rushing along when it hit something out of the blue. Floating in front of the Main Hall's giant window were 2 giant shapes. Long mechanical arms reached out from the submarine and grabbed onto the structures. They were brought onboard to be examined. One passenger who had been studying water quality stated that all measurements had been in normal ranges for this location. However, upon wafting, they had noticed a sweet smell. Another passenger had noticed water moving in the opposite direction from outside her window.
The huge things were brought into the Main Hall. Marine biologists onboard examined the pieces and concluded that these were a body ripped in half. The creature, never having been seen before was named
Architeuthis dux, or Giant Squid. Samples were taken and stored in formalin for further cataloguing and examination in labs on the surface. What could possibly have done this to a creature so large?

One passenger found a smaller creature caught in a tentacle. This fish must have just hitched a ride. It's not even found in these parts.
Dead is @Melchizedek the Candiru. A tiny fish in the catfish family, but oh boy, can it f*** s*** up! Seriously. Native to the Amazon River Basin, candiru are able to invade and parasitize the human urethra. Gross, but also scary and cool.
