We don't need the seer exposed and hames them. The seer can adequately look into the others and not be revealed. Me knows that there are 2 affiliation items currently in this game, so it should be simple 'nuff to investigate the other two within 2 nights from now. Me feels that she is the best of the three candidates currently up for lynch, even if it is the trap villager role (where the mod makes a role as a villager that is meant to seem wolfy and make trouble for the village a bit)

The message I received from the mods this morning basically said the person who was statuefied today used an item to seer me. That person would actually be able to comment on me tonight and we wouldn't have to waste actual seers getting frozen by my annoying ability. It's an easy way to test my mettle since that person can corroborate that story as soon as they can talk, and since they used an item they wouldn't be exposing themselves on thread.

You claim that you've been helping her since day 1, but she's never been attacked. I just don't see how that's possible, unless one of the two of you are lying about something.

I think with her saying "I'm the mage and see all kinds of things," it's pretty obvious what her ability is. I know that I have been trying to help her when I can, and the fact that it hasn't been necessary makes me suspicious. That's why I started a lynch on her back on day 3. You were who convinced me over pm that it was a bad idea to lynch her, which is one of the reasons I changed my vote that day. She is still suspicious to me, considering she has still not been attacked even once. VMH is also suspicious, for all of the reasons I have posted on the thread. Maybe when I get lynched as a villager you'll start to look around the group for the actual wolf.
 
Some thoughts as I catch up -

I see STL got his idiot savanting in with Gwen 😛 (he was the first vote, I think, on the day jil cancelled lynch). Not as strong of a savant as in other games though, so maybe there is more to come 😉

There were a couple odd posts from ally and vmh on the day that jilary cancelled lynch, implying that there was no reason for the gwen lynch even though a couple people had said it was either feels or based on something having to do with the Ceke kill (so thin reasoning, but not absolutely nothing).

Also had some feels from BBC.

But AM and you both said you haven't been talking to VMH. VMH didn't know you've been helping AM (supposedly). So why wouldn't AM be attacked?
 
Honestly I don't even think AM knows I've been helping her. I asked her the first time if she had heard anything from the mods about being helped and she said she didn't know of anything. If she were possibly a wolf, she wouldn't be attacked, right? and then wouldn't need the help? that's the only conclusion I can come to unless someone else is helping her or she has another ability that we don't know of.
 
I honestly think either AM and/or VMH is a wolf. I am ok with the VMH lynch today with all of the information that has been learned and discussed. I didn't want to completely discuss all of my AM feels yet, but you brought it up, so there ya go.

I think her ability claim is real though, because she's been right about PBC, Trilt, and Gwen.
 
Again, I love how people are ignoring my mention that I can be verified tonight because somebody already seered me last night. Lynches test info but lose villager numbers, meanwhile the solution I mentioned verifies me and keeps villager numbers.

I do too, but can't the wolves have a seer? and we've already seen/heard of some people in this game with more than one ability.

How do you know it was an item and not a person?
 
I am so far thinking lynch AM. I agree with the statement that was made about Crayola's wizard being very similar for a game where there are so many possibilities. There is also a lot of information gathering roles/items in this game (or it seems that way to me), so I am currently thinking they cannot all have villager affiliation.
I mean info gathering as a genre, I am not specifically referring to seerer.

I would be willing to let VMH go until tomorrow, but if she cannot be verified or if her handy source turns up dead that will be my vote then.

How do you know that was who used the item on you? Mods don't typically just let you know who is using an item on you.

Nevermind, I just realized how your ability works. Didn't realize it included item use.

But, I haven't seen this item mentioned on the thread before, how do you know its name and what it does?
 
By the way, would love to have a list of items people have received and what night they used them. You don't necessarily need to out your targets, especially if it's a seering item, as we don't want to out cleared villagers if we don't need to.

I know we used the hydrangea seeds on trilt, not sure what night it was though, i will have to ask cait or look back at the PM.

So if the person that tried to item seer VMH got turned to stone why would we think they got results?

You generally get all your night results even if you're silenced. Heck I've gotten mine when I've been night killed and been very annoyed I couldn't share them.

Still, doesn't explain how VMH knew the name of the item and it's function used on her since it wasn't mentioned in thread. Interested to hear how she knew.
 
I got the Basin of Visions at the end of N2, and my results at the end of N3.

Hayley and WZ have similar roles and nobody finds that suspicious.

Is there anyone else still alive who has been turned to stone by vmh? Wanted to verify whether or not their ability still worked.

If I'm remembering correctly Ceke was one but I don't think she mentioned whether or not she was still able to seer vmh (assuming that is what she was doing).

I meant to question MJ but forgot to tag him in the post. But I'm not surprised about your suspicious, a lot of people have been since Day 1.

Ceke mentioned Gorgons as soon as she was unstoned, but claimed to have no knowledge of whether such a creature existed in-game.

In what way has she been right? There's certainly nothing on-thread to indicate rightness. Something behind the scenes? In which case, why was it not made public, because it's not like she wasn't already outed as the seer.

I don't think it's wise to just post info on the thread where wolves can read it when it might be helpful to them. I did say that I knew Trilt's role name, and that it was sketchy. Where do you think I got that info? And people keep saying "the" seer like there is only one. Ceke could seer abilities. I'm wondering if Ceke was covering up VMH's ability, and makes me view the following quote from her in a new light. I said I didn't want to pry, but I was asking about whether she learned anything about how she was turned to stone:

My guess would be that either VMH had the item previously, or she has it now.

Ah, she's a role name seer only? That actually makes me less suspicious of her continued survival. Role names don't appear to be much use in identifying wolves. I don't think Gwen's manticore would have been over the top wolfy even in the absence of the cover role.

Why would that make you less suspicious of her survival? Assuming she were a villager the wolves (unless someone she told was one) would only know that she claimed to see all sorts of things, not that she was specifically a role name seer. Regardless of whether we feel her survival is sketchy, I don't think this tidbit makes much of a difference.

Was giving her the benefit of the doubt that the wolves have an ability seer, or someone in her PM group who knew her ability, and didn't bother killing her because role name seering isn't particularly useful in hunting wolves (IMHO for this particular game), preferring instead to let her be a lynch target.

It's a possibility, but first you're relying on the assumption that the wolves have an ability seer in the first place.
Then you still have to wonder if the wolves would spend a night ability seering someone who had already appeared to out themselves rather than investigating someone else.

I suppose you could make arguments for it either way, but that's why I say I don't think it makes much of a difference.
