I realize that there are a few threads like this but they are all Medical School threads for what I've seen. So I interviewed in Maryland November 30th and the next day I received and email telling me that my application was on hold. I emailed them and they told me that all I had to do was send an extra letter of recommendation from a chemistry faculty member. I was finally able to get a professor of mine to send a letter January 24th. I contacted the school and they informed me that my hold had been removed and that my file was available for review. Now my question is if this has happened to anyone else. And if so were you accepted? I am lucky enough to not be in a do or die situation. I was accepted at other schools and accepted an offer from NYU, and though I would be more than happy to attend there I would still like to have the option to attend Maryland, it is cheaper and the first dental school in the world, not to mention their top notch technology. I just wanted to know if anyone had a similar situation or if someone that did was accepted?
