It’s 6 months for me. I applied in Nov. 2019. Sent unofficial transcripts and MCAT score in early April. Accepted May 11.

I submitted my application in December, resent transcripts/ MCAT score in March, and got accepted yesterday!
 
Hey Everyone. I Just completed the program. I gained my acceptance. I am creating a google doc so yall can ask any questions that yall have. ANy type of questions, life, school, MCAT, apartments, and anything else. My other classmates will be answering as well. I'll try and check it several times throughout the day. I'm pretty bored right now anyway

How many people are accepted on the medical side and how many on the dental side per year?

Traditionally, the program only accepted ~50 students, half and half. Last year they expanded the program to around 90 students (~70 pre-med/20 pre-dent). I have no idea what the next class will look like.

I applied to Meharry (which was my #1), DPMS at Drexel, and MSMS/ Morehouse. I got denied for DPMS (but referred to their interdisciplinary studies MS program) and I just interviewed for Morehouse.

did any of you take inorganic chemistry? I am going to start med school preqs soon (have a BA) and nervous about inorganic and may just take general chem if its accepted.

I was a chem major in undergrad. When they say inorganic chemistry, they are referring to general chemistry. Inorganic chemistry is generally an upper level Chemistry course. It's Gen Chem I on steroids. So, I doubt admissions will require it.

Ok because I noticed some schools said inorganic/general chem and some said inorganic only. Thanks 🙂

Chem major too. I have the same perspective.
 
It’s been quite a journey but I’ve finally received the email yesterday accepting me into the Otis Maxwell portion of the MHS program. Someone please add me to the GroupMe.

For those who are accepted and are in the group me, if you dont mind sharing how many people are in the group me so far so the others that haven't been accepted can gauge how many spots are left
 
The waiting game gives me anxiety lol ! Hopefully we’ll hear something within the next week or two
