Any other ISers feel like Luke Bryan understands our constant email-checking this week? :dead:

“I wake up, I check it, I shower and I check it
I feel the buzz in my truck
And I almost wreck it
I always got it on me
Just in case you want me
So, if you’re looking for my love
Then light it up”
I'm actually laughing out loud at this. Such applicable lyrics hahaha

I feel this as a oos student waiting for the next wave

Have you been following his wife Caroline’s and his Instagram lately? They’re doing 12 days of Prankmas, and if you need something to do for a few minutes to keep yourselves preoccupied, watch them!

I haven’t, but hey, any sort of distraction is worth checking out!! My currennt go-to is feeding chickadees out of my hand. :joyful::joyful:😍

Any IS people remember anything they said about the waitlist at the interview day? Honestly, after the interview my retention capacity was not so good.

Hi folks, congrats to all the IS people that heard today! I'm an OOS applicant and was wondering if we needed to send in fall transcripts to Michigan, I haven't been able to find anything on their website and don't want to email/call and bother them unless I have to. If anybody knows please let me know! Thanks!

Don't feel bad it like a bother! Definitely email any questions you have. The admissions staff are all super nice and helpful, and unless you're messaging them constantly you won't bother them especially with important questions.

MSU has cool research though I used a lot of their PSSM studies for my nutrition term paper ( case studies)
Awesome! My lab partner is now going to be working on getting her PhD in that lab. I'm sure she'll be stoked to here people are reading their papers as undergrads

This was for graduate equine nutrition with Dr.Warren at UF. One of the reasons I want to go to MSU is their research, same with ISU. UW-m isnt bad either

Nothing for me yet but they said theyd send them out as they finish reviewing them.

. "We are still evaluating applications for non-Michigan residents and will be doing so through mid-January. As we complete evaluations we will send additional waves of interview invitations"

Nothing here, I'm not counting anything as final until people hear from Cornell

I wouldn't count anything as final until everyone submits their SIR. 😉 YOU'RE STILL IN THIS.

Kind of like Washington. We aren't out in the game until our rejection letter comes to our doorsteps. 😉😉

I wish they would at least send out one of those little "consider yourself in review" emails so I'd stop compulsively refreshing my emails even when I know nothing is there...

Does anyone know if we get new ID cards once we enroll or do I still keep my old ID from undergrad?

Pretty sure you can keep your card from undergrad. As long as you can read the numbers on the back still, they'll need those to give building access.

Hi, for those of you interviewing in January, would it be cheaper to fly into Detroit than into Lansing?

Hi, for those of you interviewing in January, would it be cheaper to fly into Detroit than into Lansing?
Detroit you’d need to find a way to get to EL (there might be busses? Expensive 1.5h taxi, rent a car/carpool with others) where Lansing you’d be close. So check flight prices and if they’re relatively close, I’d prob go with lansing, personally. Detroit is a major airport and a major delta hub so you’d definitely have more flight options flying into there.
And if you’re NOT from a state that gets snow, you may want to consider lansing over Detroit just so you don’t have to drive far in potential ice and/or snow since it IS January.
