Nope! I keep checking for the accepted student checklist...even on the weekends...I think I have a problem haha.

I know you guys are on to waiting for acceptances, but do you remember how soon after receiving your "completed materials" email it was that you had interview invites? I received the email a week ago. I feel like a lot of people had the interview invites only a few days after.

For me it took one day. "complete material" email on 9/15 and interview invite on 9/16. But I did submit and had my application verified before the 9/15 deadline. I think they were less overwhelmed with applications then.

Mine was the next day after materials completed!

I emailed them 2 weeks ago about this and they said now it can take up to a month for them to review and make a decision on our apps. I got my materials received on sept 24th and vmcas verified on the 22nd. They said they haven't even gotten to mine to be reviewed yet. So stay patient. They said they will email you if you get waitlisted. So no email is good in this case lol. At least the way I am seeing it.

I'm glad to hear this because I too was starting to get concerned
 
Interview is Dec 2nd! Any advice from those that have already interviewed???
 
I just called and they're meeting late Monday afternoon so she said we probably won't know until Tuesday!
 
I had my interview yesterday. I was really impressed by some of the things Midwestern is doing. I think the interview itself went well and I'll be waiting anxiously for the next 3 weeks to hear a response. I was originally told that reviews were being done Monday and we would know by Tuesday. Then I'm almost certain that someone said there were still reviews to be done from previous interview dates so that our reviews would most likely be pushed to the next file review, 2 weeks from Monday.

I have my interview this week and I am so nervous. I have seen a little bit of information about the interview being similar to a getting to know you chat. I was wondering if they ask behavioral type questions or if it is specific to your experiences and what you have learned about becoming a veterinarian? Good luck to everyone waiting on their results.

My interview had no mention of anything in my application. Some questions asked were: Why did you apply to midwestern? What is the biggest problem facing the field and how would you handle it? What is the best way for you to learn? Hobbies? Is the GRE a good test for vet school?

Of those questions I only had "Why did you apply to midwestern?"

I had a few ethical questions asked and then some personality questions to get to know me. They were all easy enough though.
 
So got onto my portal today and it gave me the option to change the theme? I've never seen that before. Anyone else have that. Know its silly, but I'm still waiting to hear if I was accepted or not.

Lol I got on there today too and saw that but I'm pretty sure it's just a new thing! They said we should know late this afternoon or tomorrow though 🙂

Hey guys, check your portals. I had my interview 10/14 and my accepted student checklist is up!!! Wow.

Edit: my interview was 10/14, not 9/14. Sorry.

Yes, I too am super excited for everyone to find out!! I really hope that if I end up going there (it is highly likely), I will be in the same class as some of you too!!!

You've already done all the hard stuff. You know everything that you do so just use it. One tip I would suggest is to act confident. I know this is possibly the biggest/most nervous day for a lot of people but try to be confident in yourself. Look people in the eyes, speak clearly, and show them that you deserve to be there. Good luck to everyone interviewing today.
