I'm sorry...I hope you get to feeling better soon. My interview was at 3pm and then I got to drive back to KY in the pouring rain.

I got back at 3 am!

I interviewed on 2/6 and I am also OOS. I really love it there, everyone is so nice! I'll totally be stressed out until I hear something :scared:

I can't stop staring at my phone....when is this torture going to be over 😕😕😕
 
I've also been staring at my phone nonstop. I'm feeling very impatient. I hope I get a call at work so everyone can celebrate with me. I'd Love to share that with my coworkers.
 
Hopefully we will hear something positive in the next few days. It's just a matter of keeping busy until then. Fingers crossed for us all!

I was thinking the same thing! It doesn't stop me from checking repeatedly though.
 
Hey everyone. First-year at MSU here.
It is NOT a holiday at the MSU CVM today. Keep those phones handy! 😉
 
I received a phone call from Missy about an hour ago that I've been accepted! (OOS)
 
I am so nervous, I haven't heard anything back, does anyone know when they will finish calling, or send rejection emails?

Me too! Last year alternate emails went out a few days after, and rejections a bit after that.

Did any of you apply to the Ph.D Program as well? Just wondering if you'd hear from the grad school before you'd hear from Missy.

I wish I knew! She started Friday - so it's possible that calls could extend until tomorrow. I think we should draw virtual straws and whoever loses has to call and get the inside scoop! Haha.

I like the way you think! I just want this horrible feeling to go away. I need to know something. I've been driving myself crazy for over a week now. :scared:

Meeee too! But I'm wait listed for a contract seat.. So I guess I'll be feeling this way until June, ha. I was wait listed as MSU last year too - it's so nerve wracking! I can't focus on anything else!
 
I for sure know I am going crazy. I was waitlisted last year. But I made a whole bunch of improvements to my app, so that would totally stink if I was waitlisted again this year, or worse...I don't even want to think about it, so I am trying my best to stay positive! I need a sign! lol

I did. I was accepted into the DVM program last week, but no word on the dual-degree program. I had a friend who interviewed for the dual-degree program last year, and he didn't hear back from the program until after all acceptances to the DVM program were out.
 
Missy is not in the office today so don't expect a phone call from her. I asked someone if she was done calling people but she said she didn't know...we will find out tomorrow I guess.
 
Is this day seriously not over yet? Longest day of my life, am I right?!
 
Hey everyone, another first year here. Students were informed numerous times that MSU doesn't over-accept. The result being, keeping the class size just where they want it. No more, no less. Everyone else they're considering is on the waitlist.

I just asked my friend who is also a first year, and she said they did over-accept for at least the contract spots for both WV and SC. She actually talked to Missy personally about it yesterday.

I really hope so. I was doing yoga this morning and I found it incredibly difficult to concentrate. I managed to find my zen for a couple of minutes. But then anticipation crawled it's way right back in.

Not if tremendous stress is involved!

Missy told us not to call unless we haven't heard anything by March 1st. I REALLY hope that I don't have to wait that long or I will have gone insane.😳

Ugh. I might have to break that rule. I emailed her with a question about contract seats a few days ago, so I might have to 'check on things.'

Go for it! I'm OOS not contract. Maybe you can wiggle some info.....I sent an email to my mentor.
 
I got my call on Monday! I interviewed on 2/11, has anyone else been accepted from that day?
 
I caved and left a message for her to call me back...i can't take waiting anymore!!!!!

Just talked to Missy.. She says that all calls for acceptances have been made and letters have been sent. Congrats to those of you that got in! Good luck to those of you on the wait list!

She said everything had been sent out, but I haven't gotten an email. Maybe they sent real letters this time? I would call if I were you. She's very helpful!
