Did anyone hear back about Harvard MPH 45-Global Health?? I have no status update on my portal yet! :bag::bag:

Just started declining some offers now that I've heard from all of my schools. In hindsight, I think I applied to too many but I was a little worried about my stats so I wanted to play it safe.

For any future cycle applicants reading this portal, save your money and apply to schools you're at least 75% sure you would attend if offered admission!

SAAAAAME. I let my anxiety during the apps process drive me to apply to schools that, in retrospect, I had no real interest in attending. Don’t be like me *facepalm*

Did anyone who applied to Health Management MPH65 at Harvard hear back today? Also, do different concentrations/programs have different groups reviewing apps?

Would you happen to know what merit scholarships are based off of? GPA vs GRE? And how hard it is to get one?

I just want to pay as little as possible

Same here, anxiously waiting to hear about fin-aid from UNC and Emory HPM. I have no idea how GPA vs GRE stacks for aid. The general impression I got was that Gillings doesn't have a ton of money for up-front merit scholarships but it's easier to fund a degree after starting there than Emory (TA/RAships come with tuition waiver, easy to get second year in-state tuition rate, there's lots of work opportunities).

Did anyone who applied to SM 42.5 Epidemiology hear back today?

Guys!!! What’s Harvard’s portal??! The Harvard Key!???

There’s another like MyHaravrd profile that you have to click the separate link in the emails. Also, you have to click “continue” after the admissions letter to see all the other admitted students info in case anyone else was also lost. Admitted students day is April 3 FYI!

Accepted to Harvard MPH Quantitative Method (45). For those of you who got accepted, was there any scholarship information on your decision letter?
No scholarship info for me. I am not sure if there's a difference between awards for financial aid or scholarships but on my portal, it does say financial aid will be awarded by March 31. I just looked at the total cost of attendance and its super pricey, so I'm hoping they are generous with scholarships and aid.

In at Harvard SM-80 Global Health and Population!!! This was my dream program I’m shaking rn

Congrats Congrats!!!! It just feels unreal:biglove:
Do you know when they will send out scholarship info? Is it around the same time with the financial aid awards? (Also, if you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to receive the merit scholarship from Columbia? Sorry for asking so many questions...)

Has anyone recently gotten a scholarship from the University of Michigan? I know they said they did two waves of scholarships, one in mid-Jan and one in Mid-Feb and I'm beginning to think I wasn't awarded anything in either cycle.

Just got into Emory and I am honestly shook. I was denied from my first two choice (global health/global epi) so I kinda gave up hope, but I got into behavioral science & health education!! Honestly I know absolutely nothing about this concentration and I want to work with infectious disease so I do not think I will end up attending but I am super excited to have been admitted anyways!!
Hi! I also got denied for global health and told my application would be directed to BSHE. How long did it take you to hear back after your app got redirected?

Ah I am sorry to hear that! It was actually really weird for me, I received my acceptance to BSHE (via email) a day before I even got an email it had been redirected to them. I already knew it had been redirected though because I checked the portal but i’d say between when I saw it had been redirected in the portal to when I found out I was accepted was probably 2 weeks-ish. Sorry if that’s no help I have no clue why the emails were way out of order for me lol. Good luck!!!

Did everyone that got admitted to Harvard apply earlier in the cycle? Wondering if the acceptances are being sent out by timeline

I applied for that, submitted 12/1 and didn't hear back yet not sure if by program or timeline

Some concentrations are probably reviewed at different rates. For the MPH 45 health policy admits, when did you submit?

Has anyone heard back from Harvard's MPH-65 program for Social and Behavioral Sciences? Submitted 11/30
Also HSB 65- I submitted 11/14 and haven't heard yet but have seen people who submitted later who have heard so I'm not sure what their method/timeline is

Oh wow! Yeah they never emailed me that I got denied for global health, I just saw it on my portal and then two weeks later they emailed me and said that they thought I’d be a great fit for BSHE and that they’d forward my app! That is helpful though, i was just hoping I wouldn’t have to wait another full 6 weeks for a decision. Do you know if you were still considered for scholarships?

**Just got off the phone with Harvard Admissions and although they told me in the fall when I visited that they reviewed applications in the order that they are received, they just said that they are reviewing them in completely randomized order so it does not matter when you submitted*** Decisions will be sent out on Thursdays and Fridays for the next three weeks

Thank you so much for letting us know.

I heard good news from Harvard for the MPH-65 in Health Policy! I am a bit confused though, as the letter says I can find info on admitted student days and other required forms on the portal. I'm guessing only after I commit? Anyone know of opportunities to visit before April, or has anyone had any luck setting up their own individual visit?
