dy was converted N5, and TRH was an auto-convert on N7.Conversion nights?
To answer DocE from earlier i didn't raise the tracker because I figured we had a legit seer. Thought about raising DVM but didn't know how that would go over, and dyachei was still alive at the time so figured I would save it for her.
So you know, each night you had a 1/8 chance of suffering a crippling bout of oldness. Luckily (unluckily?), it only ended up happening N1.Just my take on it.

At first I just wrote it as fluff, but then @StartingoverVet was like, "Why don't you make it a secret ability?" So you can blame him. 😛HA! I was right!!!! At some point, I remember telling someone that I had no role ability I knew of, but I suspected based on the description that I might have a "negative innate ability" of being disabled or something. Was just a guess based on the role description.
Funny role. I've rarely seen roles that are *crippling* to the person given them.
me neitherI can't believe the wolves actually won.
I was banging my head on the keyboard. I investigated trh the night I died with the book and would of tried lynching her because she could end the lynch early twice, but already used it... Sounded wolfie to me and if it worked, would of been right for the wrong reason. Well done grasshopper, not bad for a first foray, not bad at all.
What would of happened if I got converted?
I would've crossed that bridge when I came to it. Probably if you got lynched, you would have dodged it and I'd say you were AJ in black, but if you got seered it would be red.
You were already were a wolfYeah, I was worried about my ability being wolfy even before I was converted. I used it first just to try and tamp down on the bickering and second to try and build my own credibility since it was ending philliab. Poor strategy on my part.
Depending on when you died i might have still been a villager. But I didn't know I would auto convert so it would have helped out in the end anyway.

THAT was obvious. 🙄 You know what sucks?! Poeple playing at the end that don't give a damn anymore! All those "eh's" or "meh's". Pretend like you care!
Meh. I was chaos once I died, I really didn't care who won. Not going to pretend to care when I really didn't care. Also, meh.
Obviously wasn't talking about Chaos. They don't care who wins after they are dead.
Oh, well there was only one other person that said "meh" besides me.... and that was FFM...
I think you are mistaking his "meh" though, I read it as more an "oh well" than a "not caring".
Best way to do so may be to set up two chaos characters that lean towards one side or the other to win, thus offsetting benefits of both, but that's just my thoughts on that.My only criticism is that if you're going to have a Chaos character, they need a motivation to stay neutral. I.e. There should be a discrete benefit to helping both sides, and avoiding an alliance with either. Their win condition has to be based on keeping both sides balanced till the very end.
That's very hard to do, and I haven't seen it done well yet. Thus I dislike Chaos characters and they tend to be over-powered and not truly neutral.
I think that'd be cool, but the mod would have to be very careful in the abilities allowed to either chaos. I think allowing them to communicate after death is a bit steep, especially when they've had other big abilities. I don't really care for the super powerful chaos trend lately, but that's just me 🙂Best way to do so may be to set up two chaos characters that lean towards one side or the other to win, thus offsetting benefits of both, but that's just my thoughts on that.

My ability to communicate after death is what partially helped the wolves to win, not sure why people are ranting about that still. Yes, I was a thorn in the wolves side during the game, but I only revealed ONE wolf the entire game. I am not at all sorry for the way I played, my goal was to be the last one standing, I had to piss off a wolf or the wolves at some point, I just happened to do it early on. Get over it.
Ohhhhhh, can you can you can you?! 🙂 😛my first game i considered chaos essentially an alpha wolf that wasn't aligned with the other wolves (FF7) and essentially treated them as an alpha in killing them off... i thought it worked ok, but perhaps they were over powered
in Doctor Who, there wasn't a real chaos character. River Song started out as a villager and was told she could betray the villagers and become a wolf, but WTF decided to play it 100% villager and between her and Lupin and massive amounts of great villager communication, the villagers steamrolled
in SDN, i purposely made chaos balanced (thanks for the nod TRH 😉 ). The communication after death is what screwed that game up as far as the balance...
i think i'm done with chaos though, but i might try to bring back the 2 wolf groups concept...
pretty sure you were the only "player" who liked that role.my chaos role in the SDN game of SOV's was the best I think as I was an undercover character and I had to make it to the end of the game to win.... I was required to post in the thread every day to participate and could even have actions brought against me..... I could even lynch.... but I was told who the wolves were and I was required to equally balance my misdeeds between both groups
There really is no fair way to do it otherwise - you cannot expect a chaos character to balance chaos if they have no idea who the wolves are....
pretty sure you were the only "player" who liked that role.
Your winning that game angered a few.
