Retracing alissa stuff. The vote timing still think is unpairing, the interaction at start think is unpairing too. And like, alissa approach of voting Cray today while not having a clear suspect of who could their partner be I dont think is good for a partner? And they have towny post and I very much can agree and see where their solving comes from.

So I'm more inclined to think that its either V!Cray having a correct read on Alissa, lr W!Cray trying to pocket there and not doing a great job tbfh.

But not as sure that they werent w/w as before I have to admit /shrug

I think I need to go revisit what felt like a tunnel on me from Cray in 10th ann and compare it to here.
(Cray was a wolf in that game, for those who don't know.)

What would be productive now, I think, is to check and compare with Assassination Classroom, where village!Cray was misyoten, and 10th Ann, where wolf! Cray was yoten. I think comparing tone would be enlightening.

I don't think it feels impossible to be staged, personally.
I have alissa as more wolfy than Cray at the moment but I also want to be cognizant of alissa's tendency to get misyoten for seeming wolfy when, since I've started playing with her, she hasn't actually been a wolf.

Than stoat, Cray, MJ? Not really. Tbf I think I'd prefer to yeet Cray or MJ before stoat for ~sentimental reasons~ but if the pack isn't exactly Cray/MJ I guess I'd go stoat.

Ah yes, I do find appeals to typos or grammar rather wolfy. Wolf points to PSV.

Who here claims to be able to read PSV? I have them in a category with TN and some other noobs where I often find them wolfy when the village blocc is reading them village. Anyone want to give some insight into PSV meta?

This feels very premature. Do you have powers of reading those two I don't know about, like to live dangerously, or happen to know something I don't?

But why does that make them both village? Couldn't they be wolfy friends? Or like w/v? Wolves need friends too, man.

This is inaccurate. I was misyeeted in Stardew as well.
I'd call myself more a common sus target than an easy misyeet, and TN calling me an easy misyeet last game was one of the wolf pings that I foolishly ignored.

...but yeeting a consensus village person just to try and catch a wolf?? Feels like a waste of a cycle.

I'm reading Santy more village and stoat neutral, but if Cray flips wolf then I'm thinking they're annoyance-crossed villagers.

That I think you're both village if Cray is a wolf because you've both been going after her.

@Crayola227 Who are you reading as most wolfy right now? I have a really hard time understanding your general reads when you tend to sus everyone.

I need to get caught up to be able to condense my thoughts and feelz into something cogent. Off the cuff from what I've seen of posts out of order, I have Santy & AM as pretty village. Paranoia reigns when it comes to a new player of course, but that is where I would put my stick in the sand right now. AM I am not as bad at reading as she would like people to believe and I am getting to where I think I can lean her town early when the spirit moves me, and just reeval as we go if that does become necessary. But I don't think it will so far.

Zenge and Dubz generally feel like wolves in cahoots, but I can't remember the last time I *didn't * feel that way AND that I was correct. They are too good of wolves to put as too strongly town right off the bat, and too good of villagers to want to scream to the wolves reading my post rn about any village vibes coming off them. So fair to say neutral.

People I have in my POE so far are you, stoat, but have to figure out my thoughts on compatibility there although I never do this in earnest before the first wolf flip, MJ as a policy, maybe Trilt from what I have seen so far. I am also debating alissa as well but she is last on my wolf list so far.

Both. Because I do find that when people throw sus or get overly nitpicky about grammar or spelling, like I see less experienced wolves try to push that. Hell, sometimes experienced wolves try to get away with it too if they think the point they're making about the error might sound convincing.

I say both, because while I do see this as a wolfy thing to do, I have seen villagers commit the error in thinking and make mountains out of molehills.

But I think PSV is sharper than that. That is why it feels wolfy from them.

What I am is pro people not declaring before a game, how they would play a game they're not even in yet. I find it completely unproductive and I cannot and will not EVER give village points for those sorts of declarations. They hold zero weight for future games or current ones in my view. And those declarations just piss me off no matter my AI.

But if you want to try to draw Aff from that, keep it up, it's wolfy as heck.

My stance is anti-silly WW strategies. I have never deep wolfed and my bus meta has never been proactive, merely reactive. In general I avoid interactions with my partners and I put votes down on packmates only when they are already going down. That is my meta.

I am merely famous for vocalizing my support of adaptive WW strategies which include bussing. That is not the same thing as bussing.

The emoticon thing is pure joke, although I will admit they do get my paranoia going.

I was serious though about being pinged by PSV calling attention to that typo. It felt forced, like they just wanted a reason to post and look like they were doing something.

If you think jokiness is AI in any way for me then you just haven't paid any attention to me in any game we've played together, or in the one I modded.

Because I am not even caught up. This is what happens when I am pressed for reads before I have and replying out of order to people. I will try to reply and give people answers and not make them wait, but then it shouldn't be surprising that you're not seeing a progression that takes the whole thread into account.

Omg you're bringing up the rule of 3s nonsense? One, you're not even applying it correctly, it has nothing to do with just having a group of 3 and had everything to do with SYMMETRY, so it should be called the rule of symmetry, and two, I made symmetrical groupings in the very game I said it was a silly and easy to beat theory, proving my point that villagers will do it, and three, that game I pointed out that experienced wolves can look over their reads list to watch for that. So it's a total WIFOM argument to try to use against me.

So for me, this interaction from Alissa-Cray felt natural, and not staged. Not W/W.
I always find Alissa to be pretty Wolfy, that’s not different so far this game so she’s still in the POE for me.

Cray hasn’t done anything to make me village read her so she’s also in my POE.

But I don’t think they’re compatible as W/W. Especially if we’re eyeing a 2 person pack.

I think post restrictions are entirely NAI on this site. We had a 3p chaos post restrictor in the noob game, then a village post restrictor, and a village post restrictor in the 10th anniversary game (in case you were wondering, he made me write all my posts in the format of a civil war soldier writing home).
I'm sure there have been wolf post restrictors on this site as well.

Tbf I don't think speculating on the post restriction is help right now. More of a distraction than anything.
