So let's talk about the Triforce. Or let's not. Whatever. Our old men have no idea what this newfangled thing is, but think it's very peculiar indeed. Those young'ens these days and their bling. Anyway someone has to die, and they think the Triforce may help to guide them towards who to kill.

And they decide to lynch the one who didn't defend herself, dyachei. How'd this work out for them?

Woohoo!!! I figured something out in a game for once! Usually I have to rely on more explicit results. And we got a wolf!! I can't even tell you how happy I am about this, though it's probably more than it should be.

I still say villagers ought to be more open about developing trust relationships. Everyone sitting quietly and not talking doesn't help. Sure, being open means you get backstabbed sometimes. But the goal is for the villagers to win, not for any one villager to stay alive. I feel like in SDN games there tends to be a lot of refusal to interact, so it just ends up being one day after another of "no idea what to do, so RNG lynch Lissa"....

Or I could just be more grumpy today than usual.

Anyone know when the night cycle is supposed to end?

This makes me think of a new game mechanic for mods.

I am going to allow the mod to protect one player from death each cycle (perhaps until the end-game) in my future games. This way the best roles or interesting players can be protected to some degree.
 
If people had more to talk about, like finding wolves, I'd probably engage more. But you are pretty much the only active player and who wants to talk to a senile old man? 😛

Agreed on the first bit. I know I haven't been following 100% but I feel like a lot of info hasn't really come forward. I still have the one person I trust and that's about it. Haven't had any items recently that have let me find out anything else.

I've been keeping up and I do have a fair number of posts. I just don't always think my comments will add to the conversation, or it's already been said, or I can't think of anything to say.
 
Not much to note tonight except that the Penguins suck now.

Simon Belmont was on a mission. He was old as hell, born in the 17th century and all. So he had some old fashioned ways of doing things. And maybe he was guilty of whipping those damn kids off his lawn a few too many times. But he knew he was destined for more. To really BE somebody....he was a vampire hunter!

Too bad vampires went out in the 18th century, Twilight BS notwithstanding. Nobody cares about an old vampire hunter anymore. And thus, SOV is found all wrapped up in his vampire killin whip. Dead.

Sorry. On a rotation from hell (14-16 hours in hospital, writing records at home, no sleep) and now I have the flu 🙁

For what it's worth, I am Solid Snake from Metal Gear. I can track people on even nights.

I've tracked PP and that night she was having a lively, apparently non-malicious conversation with orca2011. I've tracked jj and she wasn't doing anything interesting that night either. I've missed a couple night PMs because I couldn't keep track of what night it was. 😳

So. There you go, that's who I am and what I can do.

to be honest, i think a lot of posts like that are kind of silly. obviously all the villagers are upset a villager was lost and all of the wolves are going to pretend to be upset that a villager was lost and it's not like something bad actually happening to a real person or anything, so it seems kind of just like fluff posts most of the time to me.

Just want to point out in case there's a bandwagon that PP was cleared earlier by Lissa. Certainly possible she was converted, but just wanted to remind.

I'm going to go with Swings for now I think since she was the only one to not vote for Dyachei. I know it's not the best reason, but I honestly don't have anything on anyone else so it's better than nothing.

killing me will only be killing a villager. I have no special role and have only had the one item, the cheat code on night 1 or 2 or whatever.
Give the wolves another number, if you must.
But if lynching PP really isn't such a good idea…

I didn't understand the reasoning for voting for dyachei which is why I left my vote for swings. I've been having a feeling about swings so I guess I'll leave my vote there due to lack of anything better.

Ah, I totally misread the post. That is my fault. I read it reverse...whoops. If that leads to everyone lynching me it will be something you regret.

idk just threw up a red flag when you automatically voted for PP after me and then quickly waffled to vote for me after orca2011.

Why? As far as I can remember, you haven't been cleared, though neither has swings. But why should we trust you.
