Ok... thank you... How do you know this? I thought it was a month... since the first deadline was in Jan. 15th and then Feb. 15th.

it says it on their website. you get 15 days if you get an acceptance on or after feb 1st. im too lazy to link or quote. for the last batch of acceptances at the end of jan., the letters were dated on 2/1 (at least mine).

I second that emotion. I still have nothing and don't have anything else coming in the way of interviews (according to those schools my file is STILL "being reviewed") As far as I am concerned this is my last chance! So here's to hoping!!:xf::xf::luck::luck:

Okay i get it... I guess the next set of letters will be dated March 1st.
Btw... were you waitlisted before you were accepted?

When/how did you find out?

Is getting waitlisted even a bad thing at this point?

What I mean is.....they are already pulling many people off their waitlist which makes me wonder.....are they even still just straight up accepting people? I mean...they had already pulled people off the waitlist before I interviewed...

thru AADSAS....no mail yet.... Yea I don't know if Nova's waitlist is actually a waitlist or what? I hope its a good thing....

I cannot believe it!! I got in all the out of state schools where I interviewed and I didnt get into my both first choice schools.......
where r u going?

Nowhere, I got rejected from all schools I applied, wating for one of my State school. and OHSU under review. Nova was my first rejectin back September! I think I have to say hi to "2010 cycle" . 🙁

Who did you send an email to and have you gotten a response back from any of your emails. I sent one last week and never got a response.
 
i too sent one to su-ann and did not get a response..

I sent one to Dr. Lippman yesterday, but haven't gotten his response yet. I didn't even get chance to thank my interviewers since I don't even know their names. I hope this doesn't count against me!
 
To those wait listed:
1) Did you receive an official snail mail about it or did it just show up on AADSAS?
2) Did you receive a nice happy holidays card from Nova?

The only notice I have of being wait listed is on AADSAS and I thought the happy holidays card I received was a good sign??! I'm hoping I get pulled off before classes start!!!😀

Hoping, but I was supposed to hear from them in Jan so I don't know! I was told that my app was still being reviewed about a few weeks ago. I think I am going to call them on Friday. Does anybody know who to call? I only have Su-Anna's card with her info. I this who I should call?

I think so.. but Su Ann never picks up the phone. Hordel, I know we want this soooo bad!! so I wish we can both get in this time!

that doenst' make sense, he might as well say ur waitlisted..

He said I was accepted but they are waiting to evaulate how many seats are left. He also said there is no timeline on this, but at the earliest it will be some time in early March.

Thanks! I know that this would mean the world to both of us! I just can't contain myself. I have been trying not to bother anyone but I feel as though I should probably call. I guess I will call on Friday, when I have some time off.

I interviewed there back on Feb 5th. I thought I would hear from them by now. I guess their class must be really full.

Well actually Novahopeful is right, if he said you are accepted then you are they type that they want, and if a spot opens up then you might get in. I am not sure how it works, but I think it is sorta like a waitlist, that doesn't have any set number ranking. So if you have updates, like new grades or test scores it can't hurt to have them sent and send an email to show your progress and your continued interest. When i run across Dr. Lippman again I will ask him about it and try and get back to you. But no guarantees, we have 4 tests next week so i might not be back on here before then.

That would be awesome! Can you ask him when they will meet again to determine how many seats they have? And if being "accepted but waiting on a seat" is the same as the waitlist? Is it ranked?

just called and they said dr. lippman is on vacation
 
when I was there he said he would let you know if you were accepted and last year he had a seat for everyone who was accepted. I just think it means you are in the top of the waitlist for the next batch of acceptances if there are more seats.
 
novahopefil. the wait list is ranked but can be re ranked which makes sense rthat ur at the top. congrats' hopefully someone backs out!
 
they still have 5 cycles of interviews to do till next wednesday. +4K applicants. 1st week in march, we should know where we stand.

Do you mean 5 interview dates to review?
 
as of the 18th, dr.lippman said they have five future dates for interviews. Meaning at least 10 students per date, all together about 50 more untill feb 25th. Then they'll stack everyone with their pros and cons, rearrange and select who they want.

Sounds like it! I don't know if I even still have a chance since I haven't been waitlisted. Does anyone know about what happens if you interviewed in Dec and still haven't even been waitlisted? Are you still considered or does that mean that they have just trashed my application?
 
I think they lost all of the applications of people who interviewed in early december
 
I just got a message back from Dr. Lippman, who seems as though he is a really nice gentleman, and he finally gave me an update on my status. In his own words he said I was "accepted/waitlisted." I don't know exactly what this means but I do know that it is better then rejected so I will take it. I will be crossing my fingers and praying as much as possible!!:xf::xf::xf::xf::luck::luck::luck::luck:
