Can someone post the date on their letter when their deposit is due when they get accepted after Feb. 15th?

good question! i also interviewed the third with no feedback. i really hope they consider us first b/c i need an acceptance somewhere...this is so frustrating!

I second that emotion. I still have nothing and don't have anything else coming in the way of interviews (according to those schools my file is STILL "being reviewed") As far as I am concerned this is my last chance! So here's to hoping!!

Is getting waitlisted even a bad thing at this point?

What I mean is.....they are already pulling many people off their waitlist which makes me wonder.....are they even still just straight up accepting people? I mean...they had already pulled people off the waitlist before I interviewed...

thru AADSAS....no mail yet.... Yea I don't know if Nova's waitlist is actually a waitlist or what? I hope its a good thing....

I cannot believe it!! I got in all the out of state schools where I interviewed and I didnt get into my both first choice schools.......

Nowhere, I got rejected from all schools I applied, wating for one of my State school. and OHSU under review. Nova was my first rejectin back September! I think I have to say hi to "2010 cycle" . 🙁

I sent one to Dr. Lippman yesterday, but haven't gotten his response yet. I didn't even get chance to thank my interviewers since I don't even know their names. I hope this doesn't count against me!

The only notice I have of being wait listed is on AADSAS and I thought the happy holidays card I received was a good sign??! I'm hoping I get pulled off before classes start!!!😀

Just called Dr. Lippman this afternoon.

He said I was accepted but they are waiting to evaulate how many seats are left. He also said there is no timeline on this, but at the earliest it will be some time in early March.

Well actually Novahopeful is right, if he said you are accepted then you are they type that they want, and if a spot opens up then you might get in. I am not sure how it works, but I think it is sorta like a waitlist, that doesn't have any set number ranking. So if you have updates, like new grades or test scores it can't hurt to have them sent and send an email to show your progress and your continued interest. When i run across Dr. Lippman again I will ask him about it and try and get back to you. But no guarantees, we have 4 tests next week so i might not be back on here before then.

That would be awesome! Can you ask him when they will meet again to determine how many seats they have? And if being "accepted but waiting on a seat" is the same as the waitlist? Is it ranked?

unfortunately, that's exactly what that means. not sure if it's ranked though.

when I was there he said he would let you know if you were accepted and last year he had a seat for everyone who was accepted. I just think it means you are in the top of the waitlist for the next batch of acceptances if there are more seats.

as of the 18th, dr.lippman said they have five future dates for interviews. Meaning at least 10 students per date, all together about 50 more untill feb 25th. Then they'll stack everyone with their pros and cons, rearrange and select who they want.

Sounds like it! I don't know if I even still have a chance since I haven't been waitlisted. Does anyone know about what happens if you interviewed in Dec and still haven't even been waitlisted? Are you still considered or does that mean that they have just trashed my application?

I don't know exactly what this means but I do know that it is better then rejected so I will take it. I will be crossing my fingers and praying as much as possible!!
