i've got a supply list from an M1 if you want to start stocking up during x-mas 😉
P.S. djd2187 did you pay online? that website they gave me to pay online hasnt been working for me...
They admissions office said that accepted applicants will receive an acceptance packet via certified mail. From earlier posts to this thread, it sounds like it took a while for everyone's packets to arrive.
the packets have to be signed, since it is certified mail in order for them to be received so make sure someone is home or maybe a neighbor can sign. I know my packet was signed by my neighbor, since nobody was home to accept it.
Hmm I wonder what happens if we change the quantity of "COM DO First Deposit" in the shopping cart... I want another

I committed to NSU (sent in first deposit) a little while ago as well. I'm pretty pumped and have just been spending free time at work looking at places to live down there.

.....either way i'm super-excited, and maybe i'll see you there next year 🙂

I think I'm going to live closer to downtown Ft. Lauderdale near the Las Olas area, though I'd have to find a roommate for most of the awesome apts down there.Grad housing 😉 Kramer did you interview 9/15?

I did interview on 9/15. I am almost sure that we were at the hotel after the tour and took the shuttle back to the airport.🙂
It's usually in the emails they send you, it starts with an 'N', it might be somewhere in webstar too.Where do we find our NSU ID?
I need it for the 'Letter of Intent'

Yep that was me I remember! How far away is Las Olas? Is rent expensive?
My interview is coming upAny advice? I love this school on paper. AND I WOULD LOVE TO LEAVE MICHIGAN. I have had enough white Christmases.
Am I right in thinking it takes 2-3 weeks for them to get back to you after the interview?

Haha, I knew it!
Las Olas seems to be a solid 20min(no traffic) - 45min(traffic) drive from the campus and the rent I've seen are like 900/mo a person for a 2br/2bd so it is on the expensive side too. But the places are all like luxury condominiums with gyms, great rooms, concierge service, librarys, crazy upgaded kitchens, gorgeous pools, close to the beach and the downtown area.
It seems like a nice place to get away from the campus if there is any free time. Though I still have no real idea of where I will stay and don't know if its so reasonable to be far from campus.
I'm interviewing @ nova in a couple of weeks but I'm leaning towards MSU...actually looking forward to getting out of the Ft. lauderdale heat.
did you look at on campus housing, it seems a lot cheaper - about 620 dollars a month. Plus, its about a mile away from campus so you still get that feeling of being away from campus.
How many people are doing HPSP?

Accepted. Does anybody know the matriculation requirements for NOVA now that I'm in. I want to put my deposit down ASAP . The reason I am asking is because my molecular biology class isn't looking so great this semester. there's a slight chance I might get my first C in it.
I'm debating whether or not to...
Contacted Nova today since I hadn't heard anything from them since I submitted in early october and found out that they never received my Signature Page. I had to fax it over to them, little late in the game now... too bad because the school sounds like somewhere i'd really enjoy. I also got conflicting information from two diff people regarding whether my psychology LOR counts as non-science. Hoping that all of this works out
Ok people, I need a little advice... So I'm in the U of M's honors program right now and on track for graduating "Summa Cum Laude". All I pretty much have to do is write my thesis from my research and take an honors seminar that totally gets in the way of me relaxing my Spring semester... Is it worth having those extra words on my undergraduate diploma seeing as I've already been accepted to med school? I didn't even mention the honors program in AACOMAS. All they were able to see was that I took some "honors" classes.
Is it really worth it?
If you are going to get a publication out of it, then go for it, otherwise - I would say forget about it, you have already been accepted into medical school.
