I didn’t apply for that one, I have no idea but there is one program alike in Miami and is like 75K a year

Tuition is 100K a year... Bench test thy asked for a Composite MO prep, PFM prep and a zirconia prep
 
does anyone know if North Shore LIJ in New York sent out any invites yet? Also on the adea website it says there's no stipend for the program, can anyone confirm this please?
 
Etiquette question... If an AEGD program offers you a position at the interview, can you just tentatively accept, and if you don't sign anything you're not legally bound to go? I am conflicted on what to do when I have multiple interviews in October and how much time is it reasonable to ask for to make an official decision at any one place. Is there some convention on what's considered normal to ask in terms of time to decide?

I would not tentatively accept. Dentistry is a small world and potentially burning bridges isn't exactly a great idea. I would instead ask for an extension on the decision. This is also exactly why people don't like how endo admissions is ran because of non-match. You basically have to accept your first offer even if it's not your top choice just because you don't know if you'll get another acceptance, and if you "tentatively accept" and then bail because you got another offer later on, most people will know within your circle which may cause problems down the line. (like the director may call the other director and potentially you lose the spot at both programs)

Yeah its a lot, and they dont give student loans, so when you go for interview they say, if you cant afford the tuition in cash you cant come

I wouldn't really test this, but I do know that directors will talk to each other as well as get some sort of notification that you took an offer. I remember when I matched into my residency, I didn't really tell many people and one program that I interviewed at, but didn't match into, emailed me to congratulate me. Always found it a bit odd, but again they will find out somehow since it's a small world.

What could they possibly teach you in a year that could be worth a 150K opportunity cost + 100K tuition...
