People are routinely turned down by their in-state school and accepted to places out of state, even really competitive places out of state. This whole process is screwy.

edit: i know someone who was waitlisted and eventually accepted OOS at CSU and rejected outright from her IS.

I don't know for sure yet. It would be nuts to pass up in-state tuition, but I was really excited for Scotland. Since CSU and Edinburgh are sister schools, there is a program where CSU students can go there for a semester, so I may end up doing that.

Congrats to all the Edinburgh acceptances today!!! If any of you end up there, it's a pretty nice city and make sure you climb Arthur's Seat. Absolutely amazing view!
