Has anyone done the assigned reading? I keep telling myself I need to do it and then I keep remembering I have only a few more days of freedom and do I really want to spend it on biochemistry? Errg ...

Over the last couple of days I've really been wanting to ask someone that. But then I re-read that letter and it says the work is "recommended." To me, at the end of the summer, recommended = do not waste your time. I think... 😎

Hi Yall

I, too have moved into Reed and am using the same slow ass PCs. I think these things are operating with no RAM.

I started reading the Biochemistry stuff and i figured the stuff wont be the hardest to cram, so i didnt waste my time with it, I did some of the questions on the packet, they were so frustatingly Greek to me, I decided to wait till school starts to try to figure that crap out.

An upper classman has told me not to let it stress me and that everything is essentialy "taught in class". Im counting on that.

Enjoy the rest of your summer and see yall when you get here!!

Haha...summer reading...Maybe we should all get together and have our first study group session.....🙂 🙄

Ok....Hang in there Aristian, I am leaving tomorrow/Monday night and will be in Baltimore Tuesday morning....

I moved into Reed Hall yesterday, and tonight we 1st years got together and had a little party. So far everyone has been real cool. I hope this trend keeps up. If so, I know that I'll love my time at Hopkins. Oh yeah, the chicks have been surprisingly good looking.

Man, I'm so jealous ... As much as I love having my own space now, the week in the dorms before classes began was always so much fun ... 😛

I am so bored!! There is nothing to do in Reed Hall 🙁 My floor is deserted. Anyone else who wants to join in my boredom, come visit 11-B (east wing).

Darn. If I had read this thread earlier I could have gotten you guys to come out with us tonight. We just came back in from chillin in Fells Point. Maybe next time.

Yo guys, I'm having an great time. Everyone is awesome, and you all rock. Yo Dr2007...I was there at Fells Point the other night. Hmm.... Drunk guys passed out on the wharf! Wooohoooo!

Alright, today we leave for the weekend retreat!!!! EVeryone here has been very chill, laid back and fun, which is a very good sign for the 4 years to come.

I didnt know ppl considered SDN to be like an underground society of applicants/med students. Anyways..Im trying to get a number here, to see how many of us SDNers are members of the class of 2007 so help me out! I hope you guys dont mind putting your names next to your nicks so we all know who is who. The next step is to have an SDN geeks getogether 😛 !!!

1. Amiroz- Amir
2.Chooch-Greg

please add yourselves!!

I guess we should close this thread since it is much more efficient for us to communicate amongst ourselves by e-mail or something. It has been fun meeting up on SDN, but it is much more exciting for me to meet you guys in person. I am amazed at how wonderful our class is, and I hope to spend 4 kick-arse years with you all.

hey you guys, im posting this hoping all of you will get email notifications and read it, since nobody still checks on this thresd. Ive started a thread for the class of 08. They have questions about off campus housing and stuff that my answer alone to will be naturally biased. So holla at the thread!
