So I was wondering if people would post pictures of your pet. I don't have one right now, but I really want a dog (When I get through with med school/residency) and I was thinking that this might give me an idea of what type of dog I should get.

I was thinking of a Labradoodle (my friend has one and it is one of the coolest dogs in the world)

This is what her labradoodle looks like...Also every time I run with her Labradoodle girls stop and pet it and ask me about it. They are chick magnets...But I love dogs and I miss the Lab/spaniel mix that I had growing up, she was my best friend.

She's in my avatar, but maybe I'll post a bigger picture later. She's a green cheek conure. She's really affectionate and loves to be around me, but she's actually pretty independent and is happy so long as I'm in the same room and she can see me. If she can't see me and there's water running, she screams. She also screams at the microwave. And birds outside. But I love her even though she's a bratty little diva. 😀

That dog looks like the Wolfman in a horror movie, no offense. I prefer real labradors. Not a fan of Poodles, although they are intelligent. Just give me a lab and do not screw it up. I have been around some labradoodles, and frankly, I am not a fan. But love labs. Basically, labradoodles are a genetic screwup in my opinion. And I hate the name. I do like my cat, who is basically a genetic mutt.

Good News!!!

My friend is letting me take care of his dog next week!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHH! OH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED!!!

GOD this thread is pure heaven for me!!! these dogs look so chill.

My baby! His name is Apollo and he is a three year-old puggle (half-pug, half-beagle). He is absolutely crazy and can be so bad, but I love him so much 😀 I call him "my Marley."

He is apparently way too cool for me.

His favorite kind of toy. He eventually chewed up that dog bed.

Dude I just took it with some generic digital camera. It somehow ended up really nice though, huh? The lighting just happened to be perfect, and he is so freaking handsome, he makes all pics great. I'm watching him sleep right now. Its crazy that I've had him for like 6 years now and I still get amazed by how beautiful he is at least once a day.

Dogs rule.
