You guys are way out of my league..
so far my interviews have been at:
ST. Vinnies, Montefiore, UMDNJ, Beth Israel NYC, Rochester, UCLA, Elmhurst

Does anyone know nething bout St. Vinnies and Beth Israel (New YOrk)

if by ucla you mean NOT harbor or oliveview, then that's pretty big league.. at least for me : )

i did interview at those two places. dr. copola at vincent's is amazing in cardiology. if you're interested, he's a great asset of the program. i didn't decide to rank either of them because i finally realized nyc wasn't for me.

respect putting santa clara ahead of BWH/MGH. clearly cali is a big draw for you as well. i think too few people (myself included) in IM put their life above the prestige of their training program. good luck.

Yeah, I was wondering if I was the first person ever to do that. Cali does have a big draw for me. And Santa Clara has a strong program. That said, I would LOVE it if BWH or MGH were on the west coast- my list would look very different.
