Told you I was a villager. No mention of wolf in my role description.

Not shocked the wolves won. Little bit stacked in their favor, especially with conversions imo.

Jojo is always a wolf when he plays idiot.
 
Awesome, awesome, awesome game! My favorite game played so far. Loved the unpredictability of it, absolutely loved the wolf pack, just couldn't have more praise for this game even though it was very frustrating for us wolves in the beginning. Thank you mods!

It was weird having a neutral role though. I wondered what would have happened (if anything of interest at all?) if I would've killed you. Sure I would side with whoever could let me kill rump, but what next then?
 
Thank you Escalla and Kaydubs!!! That was definitely a memorable first game for me!

I'm counting it as pure luck that I lasted to the end. Never trusting BB or Rojo ever again!

Glad you guys had fun! I'm very happy with how much knowledge of the theme that so many had. Also particularly happy that so many decided to watch the show and enjoyed that as well.

In our defense, we didn't kill a veteran player until, what, Night 5? 🙂 And MB and Hedgie are both veterans and they lived until basically end-game.

In all seriousness, it IS kinda a conundrum. On the one hand yer right, I do hate it and it does suck. On the other hand, if you're a wolf playing to win, taking out veteran players when they're starting to sniff you out is pretty obviously a necessary thing.

Mostly, though, what I don't like is when the game hits that halfway point and suddenly everyone quits posting because all the noisy players are dead and the robo-players have taken over. This one got quiet the last few days, but I felt like it stayed 'active' longer than many games.

I actually *WAS* camping the last few days, so I wasn't trying to stay under the radar to a win. I had pretty limited cell phone connectivity and kept my communications to talking to BBE and Jojo. Got home this afternoon at 5 or so, had dinner with WTF and JDH, and now I'm back home unpacking.

Ahhhhahahahaha!! I had fun for my first chaos role. Revealing Fancy was no mistake, I had no power every fourth night to ask questions and get one answered, and I hope my lynch attempts and lynch avoidance gave both villagers and wolves equal footing. 😀 I am fascinated that Rojo was turned convert, I was hoping so when I "pronounced" him cleared whatever day that was. Nine I think...

Bummed I didn't last a little longer, but that was an awesome game! It was so frustrating as wolves in the beginning when we weren't getting any kills. And I don't think the game was stacked against the wolves (especially with that), I think we just played excellently!

You were kind of under the radar all game, to be honest. Although you did say you were busy. How was dinner with WTF and JDH? Sounds like fun.

And yes, good game. It was a lot of fun. And now I have a new show to be addicted to... 🙄

I was pissed when I was converted, and really felt bad for deceiving everyone... a few specific thank yous and sorries...

Thank you Lupin, for your chaos basically handed the wolves the game, cause I could always turn and say you cleared me after the last conversion... no one questioned that you were chaos or FOS... brilliant!

Thank you SOV, for you believing in me gave me credence that I was doing a good job fooling people as a wolf... i agree with DVMD, we took out most of the more experienced players, so its easier to fool noobs, but you aint no noob...

Thank you to my co-wolves, you guys were great... i was the most vocal, but ya'll played it great... BBe was very convincing still (and, when WS died, was still a villager, so 😛 ws, and you would have never been able to track me doing anything wolf like, so if you tracked me, it would have only helped us out, since we knew just to have me lay low...)

Sorry to Dwindlin, since you were so sincere in your desire to help the villagers, and while I didn't tell you to kill SOV, i did give you a little push...

Sorry to FF, for when you were the only one left in the game to see thru the bull**** i was selling, I shot you down hardcore and got you killed... I mentioned "ah, sometimes it takes the pure eyes of a noob to see something smells like ****..." I guess this applies to hedgie too...

Most importantly, sorry to EC... I really, really, really had to work hard to not blow my cover with you, and really really really had to tell some bold faced lies and deceive you. I played it with you exactly as I would if I was a villager, but then turned around and gave the wolves every person you were protecting... it was especially amusing to see you protect LIS at the end of the game...

A huge thanks to Escalla and Kaydubs, who ran a great game and a fun game... it was fun editorializing to Escalla and giving her some inside information into what the wolves and villagers were thinking... i'm pretty sure she was amused...

My favorite wolf conversation (right after Dy's death):
LIS: "So, who is doing all the thinking for the wolves?"
Rojo: "Me?"
LIS: "Don't make me slap you!"

While I still don't think I hold a candle to DocE, I welcome and expect dying early for the near future... just remember, I can be useful early, so i'm probably a better mid round, "the wolves haven't killed him, he has to be evil by now, lets kill him" lynch... round 1-2 you can't utilize any of my skills 😉
 
I knew swings was highly likely a wolf and almost PMed her with everything I had found out or to form an alliance, but as chaos, I wanted to make sure that I was helpful/hurtful to both sides. Next time I may be a little more free with my mind freaking. I just wanted my death to remain questionable so the lies I had told would still hold water. If I had come out with my true devilishness, I think I wouldn't have had as much of an impact after death.

Rojo, I feel you. I always feel really bad about my conversion tactics, but would expect others to lay the fraud on me as well. Part of the game, and honestly, quite the brain workout to keep up the the half truths and lies.

Great game Escalla and kdubs! Had a lovely time, even though most of it was trying to save my neck. :laugh:

You know, I almost did question lupin's clearing of you...but you played it so well in PMs (and you did have the veto). I don't really think I could have done any better, and I'm still proud of how I helped catch the last couple of original wolves. In other news, this is the first game where I almost filled my (non-donor) inbox!

I think I need to take a WW break for a few games after this...or else I'll just decide I won't PM with anyone for them to whisper lies in my ear. And it was a lot more fun with collaboration. Oh well, less time playing means more time to develop the ones I'm going to mod!

SO true. It was really annoying. Let me rephrase - we didn't even target any veterans until N5. 🙂

You only got killed when you did because I was sure I was one or two posts from you saying 'LIS is a wolf. I'm positive.' Some of us have played too many games together. I didn't think I was that under the radar - I tried to engage SOV in a few typical-appearing arguments, and I intentionally pulled the 'stupid' move of pointing out his list info (Jojo noticed it). So I tried to participate. But camping from Tue on made the endgame hard.

Dinner was fun! It's cool to meet people and put face to name.

Yeah, I have only met devyn. It was fun hanging out with her, now I just have to get some money saved up to go over to Ireland.

So I kind of lied to you here a bit. I was sincere in helping the villagers, but I was going to kill him no matter what, so that part of the conversation was feigned. Was really hoping I would get his abilities. :meanie:

So, I randomly passed out last night... just fell asleep fast and hard spent most of my time sleeping on the couch because I was just so exhausted and could not keep my eyes open. Anyway, I did finally make it to bed and once I did, I had a dream..... and I blame this game... because my dream was definitely based on this game...

There was magic (lots of it), an evil queen and SDNers.... and I was sending people to Ohio... Yes, it is all this game's fault. :laugh:
