I was wondering about this myself. PCOM allegedly has a better reputation but NYCOM's match list looks much more appealing to me, since I'm from the NYC area. I'd really prefer to stay local. And for rotations, I'm much more familiar with Long Island than PHiladelphia and the other PA area hospitals (a friend from there said students did rotations in rural PA also.)
I'm wondering how that will change if NSLIJ Is no longer accepting DO's to their residency programs though, plus their own medical school. It seemed like a fair number of NYCOM students went to their residencies in the past
