Accepted!!!

Once you get an interview, the school emphasizes that it is ALL about personality, so make sure to smile and be your happy, friendly, outgoing self 🙂

Yayy congrats....me too! So ecstatic about this.btw I know who u are pink bear 😉 lol

Lol miss random numbers lol
Im so glad!!!! You have to tell me if you decide to go here. At least I will know one person 🙂

I wonder when we will get the link to the FB page.

Still haven't gotten any love from PCOM yet 🙁 complete early September. Anybody have any insight they could give me? stats are 3.5/3.5 28O OOS

I am non-trad OOS 31L 7v11b13p 3.5/3.5 bio/chem major, honors research, teaching experience, chemist for pharmaceutical testing company. volunteer in 2 clinical settings, non-medical volunteering. I am serious, reserved, and humble rather than bubbly, gregarious, and cocky. I don't know which set of 3 characteristics is better to have. The 7 in verbal is haunting. but i make up for it will a high level of scientific knowledge, common sense, good judgement, and an ability to have an intellectual conversation with someone. What do you all think? Do i have a shot, how can I impress the committee pre-interview and during interview (if i get one)?

I would follow up with them if I were you. It doesn't hurt. I have worse stats than you, and I've received and submitted my secondary (no word about an interview yet, though).

anyone interview on the 9th!? 🙂

I will be there and I am pretty damn excited lol. I have been fortunate enough to have been accepted by 3 schools thus far. However, none of these schools are in Ga which is where my entire family is. Needless to say, I believe this is my number one. Followed by a close second with KYCOM.

Plus I having an early thanksgiving with the family the day after my interview so I hope I can tell everyone how well it went instead of just moping around all day.

ii FINALLY for nov 19! i live in the area so im super excited! anyone else on the same day (9am)??

i was complete on like 10/21 or something like that. i emailed them 5 days after my committee letter got sent (it was the only thing they were waiting on) and 2 days later i had an interview. theyre really quick to email back so i wouldnt hesitate to email and just check on ur status

Wow, congrats. I was complete 2 weeks before you, but still haven't heard anything. Good luck to you though...I'll be waiting here 🙁

9AM as well! Excited, and nervous 🙂 Have you decided yet where to stay? I found the closest and cheapest to be Courtyard by Marriot, just 2 miles away I believe, haven't booked yet, but apparently they give you a discount if you tell them you are visiting PCOM

I got an interview for the 19th too. I booked at the Courtyard a few days ago. If you mention that you're interviewing at PCOM it's 75 for the room + 10 in taxes. I'm also taking Superior Shuttle to and from the airport unless I find a ride on here.

I have an interview on Nov 9. Just wondered how long the interview process takes. I know they said it lasts approximately four hours, but wondered from those who have already interviewed, how long did the whole thing take?

How long was the whole day though? Including the tour and everything from the time it starts until the time it is over. Wondering what time I will be heading home if I start at 12?

I was done leaving at 2:15
Man, isn't it great!
But, we were told in the ii email that it would take 4-hours.
Did I know this, I'd have bought my return flight ticket at a little bit earlier time.

Well it can take that long if you were the very last person to interview, took a other tour, asked 101 questions, and stayed for a lecture. When I left at 2:15 there were 4 people left to interview.

I am thinking they say 4 hours so people don't get in a bind with traveling and getting tickets out of ATL so close that they miss the flight.

Did you envolve all of these and still were able to leave at 2:15pm?
