Is match day still in December given the delay in application deadline this year? If not, does anyone know when match day this year will be? Can’t find any word of it online yet.

Just got offered my first interview invite! Currently very happy at home academic IM program, ultimately wish to stay in academics. What do you feel is the benefit to trying to climb the academic ladder versus staying at home institution with established research mentors?

Agreed. For CCM, night also be helpful to specify if coming from IM or EM?
 
Im getting a little worried about no response so far. I don't know if it's normal for most IMG to not get invites until late or it's something to do with my application.

It would be helpful to know what you all think regarding my application so that I can atleast know what to expect from this match. I am US-IMG and finished residency last year from a decent community IM program with inhouse pulm and IP fellowship. Scores are 250s/250s/240s. I have 2 manuscripts and 6 posters(5 in CHEST and 1 IDSA). I didn't do much research in residency and most my research is from last year. I have been working as a hospitalist in a big name university hospital since finishing residency.

Dude, I haven't heard anything either and seems like a lot of people haven't yet. My application isn't as strong as yours, with the exception that I am an AMG and am at a good university academic IM program vs community.

I wouldn't worry right now. There have been an increase in applications so give it time. Not sure how that will affect everyone but I have no expectations and would just see how things go. You have a good application, but a lot will probably depend on how broadly you applied.
 
We're 5 days in. Relax. It's going to be ok. You have an obviously solid CV, interviews are coming.

The only program I have heard from is Washington University/Barnes-Jewish.

I was also asked to fill out a supplementary. I assume that most programs will be doing this to gauge interest.

Well crap, going to put that in the rejection category. Would you mind sharing your stats? Trying to calibrate with what I can expect this interview season and when to have mentors reach out to programs.

Did they send you an email notifying you? I didn't get that OR get the supplementary request that other people are talking about.
 
Just got an invitation to a program orientation for university of southern California PCCM, doesn't look like it has anything to do with actually getting an interview invite.
 
Hi, all. Applying CCM from EM. Have a few interviews so far, no rejections. Anyone here applying the same? Most posts seem CCM from IM or PCCM.
 
I received an Interview from LOYOLA PCCM. But there was no Invite in ERAS Invite tabs so I contacted them today and PC said it was Her Mistake and Instead of sending to Certain Academic Program they pulled by my profile and Sent invite. Does anyone have the same issue?

Based on an acknowledgement I’ve received and the rumor mill, interviews might come from some programs around late August. Anyone heard about the percentage increase for the number of applications that programs are receiving?
 
Received an email from cook county Today for PCcM that they have received over 500 applications for 3 positions. That’s a real damper!!!🙁

I received over 300 applications for 6 positions (CCM). It just takes a long time to read through that many files since I don't use auto-filters to shrink the list down.

Do you mean PCCM pre-match programs? Or are you including CCM programs (which are almost entirely pre-match)?

I think having CCM places give out their offers pre-PCCM match makes people have to decide how much they really want the pulm component.
