No it's not required, I imagine Trilt is referring to a posting restriction in Doc E's role.

Okay, now I'm really confused. Role playing to me means not just being given a character name and role, but speaking and acting as that character (table top type roleplaying). If the restrictions on this game are that we have to actually post as our SDN role names then that to me is the same as role playing a real life person, and if restrictions are in place it means we don't have a choice not to do so. I figured some people would decide to RP as their SDN identity in the game, but I thought it was clear from one of my earlier join up posts that I wouldn't be doing that.

So is the playing as our SDN identities a restriction, or do we have the choice not to?

this is patently not true. There are definitely easier lynches than others. You're an easy d1 lynch vote. Gwen. Jil. AM.

I vote DVMD d1 and the chance of that going anywhere is basically nada... that's not an easy lynch vote. It's a useless one for a wolf to try and nudge towards. Use your head.

I think it depends on the mod message you got that posting a certain way is absolutely necessary. But like I was saying before, some people are just doing it for the fun of it.

Post restrictions, yeah, for fictional characters and typically only for 1 or 2 people in a game.

So it's not required, and only one person has a restriction that says they have to play as their SDN identity. Okay, that's good. 🙂

1) I don't know the noob's schedule, so no way for me (or most of us) to know she couldn't check in before now.
2) I was wolf killed N1 my first game (maybe even first 2 games? I forget), and I was just told "noobs get killed N1, it's just how it is." Someone has to be the first night kill, and someone has to be the first lynch, it's kind of a dick move to do to anyone really. If soybean hasn't at least followed a game before, then maybe lynching her early really isn't the biggest dick move because she can follow along and get a feel for the game that way.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just have reasons to not want MJ or Kam to get lynched and so I'd rather soybean went of our 3 front runners right now.

Sure, I was just expressing my opinion. I also asked her to play so I feel a little responsible; if she doesn't show up/participate soon then by all means we can lynch her for n00bness.

Also, I was saying that I had a little chuckle earlier today wondering if the statement about not posting as roles was actually part of a role. Not sure how that translates to me hating on statements with PS in them?

I am very, very, very much not someone you should lynch, but I'll let you lynch me to make a point. My best friend's niece literally died of brain cancer though, so I'm not going to be around the rest of the night, I've got to not be on my phone tonight.

It may not have been you. I think it was during the Lion King game, or maybe they game before that.

I already posted it, but I'll say it again. I don't want to lynch Kam because it's her first game back in many months, so I'm not down to lynch her D1. I also like playing with MJ, so I'm not for lynching him either. He is a good player when he has time, and even when he's busy, he's often helped catch a wolf as long as he's not lynched for being quiet or he's a wolf himself.

You never get better if you constantly die early. Don't perpetuate it. And @PippyPony get your friend on here stat.
 
don't like lynching people when they haven't posted yet. especially noobs. I don't like ceke's rng vote. we have caught too many wolves recently D1 to be rng-ing a vote

I had a bit of an angry rant that I deleted because it's totally just displacement. Have fun everyone.
