I'm trying to lay out my thought process, but right now my process is just vibes and "holy heck the not noob people aren't afraid to just go for it". I will admit I'm feeling very thrown into things which is absolutely no one's fault I'm just not vibing with thread the way I'm used to.

"I can't read this person and therefore I'm going to vote for them first" is just one of my least favorite types of votes. You'll never learn to read someone if you kill them before you even try.

I agree! But I don’t have a ton left to go on. To be clear, he is setting my tingles off slightly, but idk if that’s real or just my biases. As I did the exercise I realized I could probably vote CG for the same reasons but it didn’t seem like an organic reason to flip.

If you want me to expound, I am also explicitly baking in the fact that Clem made it far in the last 2 games, so I don’t feel as bad about voting him. Like I said, unsatisfying.

For whatever reason, it popped up in a way that I happened to read it a little more closely and it gave me enough of a vibe that I felt like commenting on it.

Since as you point out others have been pushing Rae, an alternative interpretation could be an opportunistic bandwagon on their part. I would need to watch them play a little longer to get a more firm read.
