Before you take off could you give me a quick summary of any reads you have? I am interpreting your Clem vote as the opposite of a read based on the context of your comments about him in general.

So, I actually remembered when the game started and browsed the thread real quick, back when it was only like 4 pages. I thought to myself, “let me finish this nutrition assignment and I’ll check in.” Spoiler alert: I completely forgot to check in because nutrition is a son of a biscuit and after an hour, I just wanted to slam my head into a wall. And I’m still not done!

Not super what it’s going on since there’s no wolves, so I might just vote sleep for this cycle until there’s more info.

Some rae thoughts...

Spurs being all over the place is a role-play, sure, but definitely something I would consider look-at-able

I didn't like this. It came across as critical of the being all over the place rather than of the roleplay itself.

I think it could be spurs RPing and having fun, or it could be a way to confuse day one voting. I think there's no way to know until we have more data to go off of. I just don't like to write anything off.

I was okay with this. I don't agree with it--because I feel like the fact that it was all back to back to back made it so it wasn't confusing and I think an actual attempt to confuse would have been more drawn out. But even though I disagree, I can respect the reasoning.

I'm notoriously bad at reading spurs, and honestly, we've always been opposite alignments in the games we've played so far. Like I said, I love the RP and getting into it, but the flip flopping through the whole roster is giving me momentary pause. Pause enough to claim a wolf? Definitely not. But pause enough not to be out here claiming village already either.

This feels like backtracking and also like it partiallt reverts to the argument I didn't like originally where its more critical of the actual flip flops than of the roleplay.

I also don't want to get too hung up on spurs because that was a fun little bit that spurs put a lot of energy into and I don't want to completely ruin it

Yeah as I said my Clem vote is a bit of a shrug. Unsatisfying, but also I feel like when we were villaging together our styles are so different that I’ll wind up spending the whole game looking at him side eye.

I know apop is doing a Jason bit, but still would be nice to get some reads. Sort of giving an excuse to be present but not contribute, though as stated there isn’t a ton to go on to solve.

PSV, genny, fruit, zenge, and samac, are all active in about the ways and amount I might expect them to be. I don’t need to rehash what I said about raising an eyebrow at PSV earlier but I think they’ve been pretty normal since. I feel like I need more time to read them.

CG is INactive in the way I would expect. Maybe they deserve to be in my POE—I have even commented on that before, they manage to skate to the end despite being wolf/3p twice now.

DubZ seems most active in trying to help get info. Reads village, though power wolf is possible. Again I would need more time to read fully..

I think I’ve said my piece on Rae. I think overeager villager who may also have gotten caught in a pile on from players looking for someone to go after (not necessarily wolves, but I think we are all looking for reasons to suss someone).

Finn’s reads on Rae seem genuine, even though I disagree. Points for playing with an infant in my book.

Everyone else I have either never played with or played with so little that I have basically no read on. Apologies if I missed someone.

I think two things happened here; I think I was saying that all gameplay is readable and I didn't want to write it off, but I also didn't want to be like "spurs is having too much fun, spurs is wolf". If I keep harping on it, RPing loses the fun, and I don't see a reason to keep harping on it, but it keeps coming up as a reason I'm sus. I just don't want to hurt spurs feelings. I don't appear to be starting on my best foot.

"I can't read this person and therefore I'm going to vote for them first" is just one of my least favorite types of votes. You'll never learn to read someone if you kill them before you even try.
